this is honestly my favourite pokemon movie so far. it has such a beautiful story and sad backstory. its so different from the usual pokemon movies and i luv that. i think i cried 3 times watching it. and the SOUNDTRACKS. they just pulled the whole movie together

This movie is severely underrated. I love how the past 3 movies, 20, 21, 23 shows a different timeline of Ash exploring different towns, origins and conflicts from a different perspective. I don't think it shows the love that it deserves 'cause this is clearly like a stand-alone film that anyone can enjoy. Furthermore, I know this is almost like a "Tarzan copy" or even a "Jungle Book" but honestly I adore those kinds of films. Thus, it's the same studio who made the first season of Pokémon. Looking back from then and now, you can clearly see the improvement that this animation can show, and I love every second of it.
