The One with Dr. Mark Bull
Our guest for this episode is Dr. Mark Bull who is one of the premier bio mechanists working in the game today. He has worked with and helped thousand of golfers from all levels, club golfers to major winners and as far as I am aware there are very few who know more about how the body works in and out of a golf swing.
For this episode we explore the influences around movement and how understanding your own can be a big key in helping improve your performance. We chat about related movements in the golf swing and some of the discoveries Dr.Bull has been working on in 2024 and he also brings us through some of the commonalities that the best movers in the world have.
For the coaching section Dr.Bull provides some guidelines for those approaching or working with 3D for the first time, we chat about his coaching discoveries this year and how they are based more perhaps of human interaction and learning as opposed to technical aspects. We have a look at the Bull3D system and look at some 3D tracings of movements and lastly Mark discusses his membership site and how the catalogue of the site represents his view on important aspects to performance.
Mark is without a doubt one of the smartest people in golf. You will gain more information by simply being around him. His level of research, experience, time and dedication is elite and amongst the best in the world. If you ask any coach, player or student that has worked with Mark they will tell you that is level of understanding of the golf swing is only matched by his level of commitment to understand the player in front of him. A man who is expert in seeing movement but committed to knowing what makes it work…. so I hope you all enjoy this Podcast.

No part 2?
@@FGrecoJR had some technical difficulties with part 2 but working on re recording.
This is gold thank you! I’ve never heard this explanation before and struggle with the correct feel to address my over the top swing pattern.
@@mattkoskinen8398 thanks Matt glad it helps. Remember if you follow me on Skillest you automatically get a FREE swing review if you ever want. Thanks again.
They are both good in the down swing. I liked the back swing on the top one better though
Yo, I heard that Aron Langåker had a really good 3D model
This is true.... I think if he was from Northern Norway it would probably be even better but who knows,...
Nah. If you visit him he just might really really really impress you
Perfect! I forgot my stand at home and I wanna record today lol
Nice
Good tip mate 👍
Thanks 👍
Great drill, I’ll give it a shot. Quick question, what brand jacket is that?
Glad you liked it. The Jacket is Ralph Lauren. Really nice warm piece.
nice drill, thanks I will give it a try today and hopes it helps calm down my chipping motion.
Hope it helps , cheers
Great lesson Steve!! Thanks..
Appreciate that thank you , glad you liked it

Not to keen on his position at the top. Arms look too vertical, and there's little hip rotation as you can see from the left leg being so straight.
Yep we working on hand positions at top , there is a hierarchy of progress in all swings. What would be the issue with little hip rotation? As an aside he actually has plenty for him and his body type/physical structure) however interested in why you would think that lesser hip rotation is bad?
Have a look at this, free-online-golf-tips.com/wp-content/uploads/top-of-golf-swing.png IMO, the swing is too much in the arms and not enough body. Pause the video at the top, there's no movement in the left knee.
Just because il Puerto Rican 😢
Golf stuttering!
So, why didn’t you hit one ?

Sounds like a great way to make players move their entire upper body trying to watch it in
Oh lord......where does it ask you to do this while hitting a putt?? Its a visualization exercise...
