There is a mobile Covid testing facilitation at the border of South Africa, you can get your Covid certificate there. It costs R300/pp (as of Oct 2021) and only takes less than 15 minutes.
P.S. 2 Nov 2021 - Looks like the Covid test I did was a Rapid Antigen test (I received an SMS).
That means that the certificate you get will mostly not be valid for International Flights.
Most of the countries will require a PCR test and not a Rapid Antigen test.
