RIDING THE YELLOW LINE - SEASON 2, EPISODE 11
In this episode...(one of our favorites this season)
Three states, saying goodbye to Montana and hello to Idaho and Washington. Along the way many stops were made prolonging travel time which worked out perfectly. Couldn't resist the many lakes and rivers, not to mention the majestic mountains. #ridingtheyellowlines2 #whatalife #crosscountry #themoonracer1network

Ken was my uncle, Kenny Jr. and Jimmy are cousins. I remember going to Flemington to watch them race and had a collection of stickers and patches from the Ken Brenn racing team with that deep yellow background and the red 24. Ken passed away on Monday and it's nice to see how much he enjoyed his life and how much he had accomplished. Unexpected was the reference to his "fondest memory", my aunt Dottie, who he loved dearly; she passed away six years ago.
Sure wish you could have shown the cars in more detail , meaning quick stills to be able to identify each car . Cool video though ! Thanks !
Neat! Thanks for this video (converted from VHS or similar?). I used to do driving schools and the occasional Time Trial at NHIS around that time, never saw this type of running. Just 25 years ago, but it feels longer than that...
Only stopped by to watch, because i was one of the hundred bicyclists who used to race on the NHIS track Thursday evenings, back in the 90s... by the time y'all filmed this, I was living in Switzerland, and cycling out to watch the Tour de France each summer.
I can almost smell the race fuel.
Reminds me of the days still love it, by the way the music was great
It's nice to see and hear the stories of former racers and see the cars they drove in races back then.
What's to say ,I was there.
And Bob's beserko lounge, I never found that place.
Does that bring back memories or what ! We would go to York US 30 and loved it. Still do.
Awesome! I used to cut all the neighbors yards to make money to go to Ratco. The little black Austin Healy @ 1:10 was a really cool black dude named Ronnie Wright. Had a 427 Chevy in it, always left wheels up. Great memory.
I remember that car well. He towed it with a equally beautiful black 69 Lincoln Mark 3.
Spent many MANY weekends in the stands at Atco in the late 60 and early 70s.
Thanks for posting this, I live a half mile away from Atco raceway and it breaks my heart everytime I drive by seeing it abandoned.
Use to race Super Pro years ago, I knew about Raceway Park but didn't know Atco shut down too...how long ago did that happen?
@ about 18 months ago. Think it was July 2023. Tracks still there but bleachers, scoreboard etc all gone
I miss my 1974 Plymouth Valiant 318cu. In. V-8 😊
Love that gremlin
Well I hope the 63 Ford won 😎
the banjo music sucks
love the sound when you crank it with the inertia starter. it actually talks. literally says "vroom"
Nice music selection
Thanks for the video 🏁

Great video, thank you for doing this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for showing this, I completely forgot about the political B S going on.
I would like to go to one more airshow with my father. He and the base have been gone far to long ago...
They were awesome! My dad would take us, but we usually just got lawn chairs and sat out back. I grew up close enough that they would always fly over all the time. The whole house would shake to hell and those jets would rip over that house so low. It was truly an incredible experience seeing some of the aircrafts that flew over our home. Hell, we even had a hot air balloon land in our backyard.
dirt bag racing at it's finest
What does that mean?
I Grew Up At This Track in the 60s and 70s....Do You Have Any Footage of back then ???
Plenty, search our channel
I Have All My Dad's Photo Album's and One Of his Midget's in My Garage with a CROSLEY Racing Motor with No Races on it yet...3/4 Midget built in the 50s by my Father.....Ken Dawson

When was this filmed?
2007
Woah. These videos are making a come-back and on the internet!
That was Horsham, PA not Warrington
Wow, this brings back some fond memories.
Anybody, "Hot Heads" Hot Rod Club?.......
These times in the 20th century as far as racing for me was the best. Before funny cars and corporate sponsorship really took over. I know funny cars were super popular and their did attain tremendous speeds, but there was something to be said about young neighborhood kids scraping together enough money to race their cars. Also No Expectations was the perfect song to play.
Thank you so much for this video. My best friend used to own wild fire
Joe..?
R I P, Nazareth along with Langhorne, Reading fairgrounds, Flemington, Syracuse mile etc.

I miss E-Town I was going there since the 70’s.who the hell cares about electric cars. They’ll have to put baseball cards on the rims so you can hear them when they move lol.. politicians ruin everything we need to take back are country.
