My SML July 2024 Review: Jeffy's Skibidi Toilet- This might be controversial, but fuck it. I don't think this video was THAT bad. I know it's a hot take, but I feel people are hating it a bit too much. Even though the concept is weird as fuck, I do like how they went all out with it. In my opinion, if you have a silly/weird concept, then you may as well go all out. Maybe that's just me. Lebron James was also fine, but the rest was pretty bad, especially the scenes with the mewing and Shrek. 3/10 Inside Jeffy 2- I think I found the most disappointing video of the year so far. I think the video itself didn't know what it wanted to be. It felt like a Fourth of July special, a sequel to Inside Jeffy, and a merch plug...all in the SAME EXACT video. The firework subplot was pointless, and it created tons of filler. And the merch plug...oh god the merch plug. The actual plot was alright, but the video could've focused more on the emotions. It also bothered me how it was just four emotions, like, they could've included more characters. Most of the characters were alright and the Xanax scene was kinda funny, but this was just mid. 4/10 Kendrick Lamar- Finally, a decent video for July! Kendrick Lamar himself was pretty funny and his diss track was definitely the best part, especially with the bit where he shouted at the camera, I laughed my ass off. Ken's "diss track" was also pretty funny, mainly due to Junior and Joseph's reactions. The only negative is that the first half just dragged on and not much has been done with the plot until the second half. Other than that, this was a great video. 9/10 The Homeless Makeover- This was...kinda average. The beginning with the drag race was definitely the highlight, and the rest was...alright. There's not really much to say. I guess most of the characters were enjoyable...? Seriously, the best way I can describe this video is that it is your average SML video. 5/10 Jeffy's Moon Cheese- This was enjoyable enough. I especially liked the scene where the cheese hits Marvin in the face. I don't know why, I just found it funny. Ronald was decent enough, even though I also agree with the fact that his scenes just drag on. Seriously, I would enjoy Ronald way more if his scenes didn't take up half the video. The ending twist was pretty stupid and predictable, and the rest of the video was average. 7/10 Shrek 5- I am excited for the actual Shrek 5, and I hope it's genuinely good. This video though...it's basically what Shrek does all video. Fucking crap! All this video offers is Brooklyn Guy being a greedy motherfucker throughout. Seriously, all he did was steal Rose's food and the scene where he chose to save the alfredo over the DVD was just stupid. I will admit, the animation was kinda funny and I did sort of like the scene where the "cancer patient" transformed into Goodman (in terms of voice). But, this video just stunk. (Terrible joke intended). 2/10 Junior Gets His Ear Pierced- Meh, this was another average episode. Mickey Mouse and Goofy did sort of carry it, even though they didn't have much screen time. The court segment was fine, although I feel like we've seen Judge Pooby about a million times ever since 2022. He is a good character, but like Ronald, he's become overused. The scenes where Braxton/Bowser abuses Junior were pretty hard to watch, and I basically felt nothing while watching the rest of the video. 5/10 The Dalmatian- This was...definitely something. First of all, I like how they actually responded to the fan's idea from Cody's Love Triangle by making this video. I thought it was hilarious. The video itself...was fine at best and disturbing at worst. Cruella and Jasper were decent enough and seeing Craig again did make me cheer, but the dog jokes were...disturbing. Seriously, Brooklyn Guy should arrest himself. 6/10 Jeffy's Voice Changer- This was another average SML video. Seriously, July is filled with average and mediocre videos. The concept itself was pretty generic, although it was handled quite well most of the time. The scenes with Chef Pee Pee were pretty funny, and Brooklyn Guy was fine. The ending was pretty abrupt, and like I said, the plot is nothing special. It's your typical Jeffy video now that I think about it. 6.5/10 Brooklyn Guy Gets Fired- I...genuinely LOVED this video. In fact, it probably beats The Charleyyy And Friends Problem for being the best of the year so far. I loved the meta humour throughout. It kinda felt like Logan admitted to some of his mistakes, including creating filler with Nicktendo, and making Brooklyn Guy decline as a character. Also, I loved all the callbacks to previous characters, such as Woody and Mr. Pig. The entire video was funny and I couldn't find anything wrong with it. 10/10 Summer School Part 2- This was slightly better than the first Summer School episode this year, although this series is still pointless. Like, where's part 3? Summer's almost over already. Mr. Winkle was a pretty entertaining antagonist here, although I feel like it would've been a good opportunity to find out what happened to Alex in Kindergarten Part 5. Principal Steinbeck was good, even though he is also becoming overused. The rest was fine enough, even though Joseph bullying Mikey was fun to watch. 7.5/10 President Marvin- This was slightly better than President Jeffy, which is a good thing. Donald Trump returned, and he was as funny here as he was in President Jeffy. The campaign scene, while it kinda dragged towards the end, was funny for the most part. Although, I feel like more could have been done with the concept and Brooklyn Guy and the other agent got kinda annoying at the restaurant scene. Other than that, this was pretty decent. 8/10 Brooklyn Guy Gets Cheated On- This is the most mediocre way to end a mediocre month. Some moments were kinda funny, such as the scene with Brooklyn Guy drink driving, tasering Simmons, and watching Twisters in the crappy quality. The rest was just dumb. Brooklyn Guy was pretty bad. I guess Logan learned nothing after making the best video of the year. And the twist was SO predictable, like I'm getting sick and tired of the misunderstanding videos. They're just becoming so dumb and pointless. 3.5/10 Overall Percentage: 58.84% Middle Rating: 5.8/10 Overall, this month was pretty average, with most of the videos being pretty average and disappointing. Nothing else to say here.

My least favourite Video of SML 2023 is Jeffy The Sketch Artist

Here is my review of SML June 2024: Brooklyn Guy's Clones- This was a fun enough video. The dumb clone was definitely my favourite, whereas the rest just acted like Jerk T. Guy. Most of the video was decent enough, with the funniest moment being the dumb clone randomly punching Marvin in the face, although I didn't get why puppets went to the dentist as they have no fucking teeth. The wedding scene was pretty bad and the ending was abrupt, but I didn't mind this video. 7/10 Junior's Sports Drink- For the first long video of 2024, it was kinda decent. Junior's stupidity actually works here, as I genuinely found him funny, especially with Cody's reactions towards his shenanigans. The court scenes were funny, even though they were repetitive towards the end. The ending was also abrupt, as Judge Pooby sentences them to death. He should lose his license for that. This was a slightly overhated video IMO, as I kind of enjoyed it, especially with Lance as Caitlin Clark. 7.5/10 Jeffy the Spy- This was just wasted potential. The video was just based on a misunderstanding. Jeffy wasn't even a spy here. Most of the video felt like took place at the scene with Pooby. He was sort of funny at first, but he kind of got annoying towards the end. I also didn't get how Simmons, Chief, and Brooklyn Guy thought Marvin and Jeffy were Chinese, since they met them several times before. Continuity sucks in SML I guess. The scene with Poobtin was pretty funny, and I suppose Lovell's scene was alright. I didn't find this video offensive like other people, but this was still pretty bad. 2.5/10 Junior's Big Playtime 3- I was shocked that we received a third episode this year. I thought it would release next year. Anyway, this video was pretty good. Lil' T/Toad was definitely the best character, mainly due to his community. Most of the characters were decent, especially Junior, Bully, and Richard. I feel like it barely does anything different compared to the other Playtime episodes, hence why it isn't a perfect video, but I still loved it enough. 9.5/10 Junior Goes to Jupiter- I don't know how to feel here. Junior and Cody were decent enough, but this video felt incredibly slow. I don't know why, maybe it's because of the Max Keeble joke? I don't really know about this video. They didn't really enter Jupiter, and the video didn't really go anywhere. The aliens returning was nice, but that's about it. I am considering giving this video a rewatch, but as of right now, it's average. 5/10 Summer School- I loved this video. Principal Steinbeck was great, Junior was pretty decent, and I really liked the school setting. It was a nice introduction to Cody an-wait a minute. It's a remake? What's the point exactly? In all fairness, this video wasn't bad. Principal Steinbeck was still funny and Fitzpatrick was good enough, and some of the jokes involving the flags were kinda funny. I didn't like Mikey, but I didn't mind this video. It just pales in comparison to the original. 8/10 The Father's Day Heist- This was another video that has wasted potential. The concept was good, and the Nicktendo animation was actually funny?! I just noticed something. When Brooklyn Guy uses Nicktendo, it's awful. But when Nicktendo is used in something else, it actually serves a purpose. So, yeah. Fuck you Filler. T Guy. Most of the video took place on the red couch with them talking. Goodman did save this video but that's about it. In fact, the heist was like...20 seconds. Like...that's fucking it? 4/10 The Purple Problem- I genuinely enjoyed this video for the most part. Ronald was actually pretty funny here, especially when he argues with Wendy. I also liked Grimace coming back. At least no one took a sip of his milkshake this time, although they copied it instead. The ending jumpscare was random, but I liked it enough. I feel like the opening was a bit random, but to be fair, I would also rant if I found a bread clip in a Wendy's burger. At least they didn't find a dead rat in a Subway sandwich (that was an actual incident if you're wondering). 9.5/10 Jeffy's Fast and Furious- This is probably my favourite video of the month. And this is also the video that literally broke Logan's back. Hope he gets better. The race scenes themselves were definitely the highlight, especially with the camera angles. Vin Diesel was funny enough and I liked seeing Duggie/Black Yoshi again. The only complaint I have was PJ Crenshaw. I know he had a small role, but he felt mean-spirited in the beginning. Other than him, everything and everyone else was great. 9.5/10 Jeffy Breaks Marvin's Back- This is the part where June goes downhill for me. I know Logan broke his back, but I feel like a better solution would have been him taking a break and coming up with better ideas and videos while resting. This video was just bad. I can't actually say I feel bad for Marvin here. He could've just let Jeffy go swim instead of being bossy with him. Filler T. Guy did nothing but cause filler (as always) and the ending was bad. Junior and Jeffy were alright, but this video was bad. 2/10 Junior's Assumption- If you want a video example of why Junelope sucks, this is THE example. This video was nothing but Junior feeling paranoid about Penelope and Joseph. I can slightly see why Junior was scared, due to the coincidences, but it was still annoying. And the entire video was just an inception. It was just Junior dreaming over and over again. What was the point of this video? Joseph and Chef Pee Pee were the only decent characters here. 1/10 Jeffy's Ding Dong Ditch- This was a bland video. Ms. Nesbit/Craig was probably the best character, despite her/him being in only one scene. The scene with the Fuckerdoos was also slightly funny I suppose. The rest was mediocre. Guess what Filler Guy did? Fucking caused filler. With a Nicktendo animation. See what I mean when I said Nicktendo is terrible because of Brooklyn Guy? I didn't care much about this video to be honest. 4/10 Best: Jeffy's Fast and Furious Worst: Junior's Assumption Overall Percentage: 57.91% Middle Rating: 5.5/10 Overall, this was probably one of the better months of this year, even though February is still my favourite month. This month would have been better if it didn't go downhill with the last couple of videos.
