O'Bryonville Pointe
This is a sustainable mixed-use development concept that I design as an independent study while at the University of Cincinnati's DAAP Urban Planning program. The interior space shown in the animation was designed for a landscape architecture firm with floor level "green floors" to bring the landscape literally into the office. Other sustainable features of the development include green roofs, solar arrays, wind turbines, geothermal HVAC, LED lighting, solar bus stop, stormwater cisterns for grey water re-use, structured parking and extensive building insulation. Concept composition is roughly 1/3 residential condos & apartments, 1/3 Office and 1/3 Retail / Restaurant with structured parking below grade for 120 cars.

This animation was created for Coldwell Banker West Shell to show development options for two 1.79 acre residential properties in Symmes Township, Ohio. This animation was created in 2009 to show the Master Plan by Meisner Associates / Land Vision for the barge-to-rail Queensgate Intermodal Terminal on a riverfront site in Lower Price Hill. Connected by rail to the region's largest container distribution facility, this Cincinnati based transfer facility would be a key link to worldwide destinations via the newly widened Panama Canal in 2014.

Whomever ever neglected and knocked down this lovely home is a idiot.

I accidently stumbled upon the Gamble House and this is a sick fucking thing. This is such a waste and a loss.

We need phone calls, emails and letters going to Carter Randolph, Executive Director, and the rest of the Greenacres Foundation Board requesting that they reconsider their pursuit of demolition. Our bottom line is "Fix It! Or Sell It!" Cincinnati Preservation Associates has made several formal offers to purchase and restore the house, but Greenacres refuses to sell this important piece of Cincinnati history.

What a beautiful home (it was). Even though I'm very much in favor of restoration of historical buildings, this video might have been much more effective if were not so blatantly political. But I do hope they can find a way to save it. (And yes, I had to pause it several times to read the commentary and understand the photos.)
Shame on Procter and Gamble for allowing this disgrace in to happen right under thier noses.
