No fault of the vehicle, it did everything right and with 2 diff locks it's more capable than most. That FJ would've been more stuck in the same situation as that mud coats the tyres making them like slicks. A few rookie mistakes like spinning the wheels (which just digs bigger holes!) and not jacking up the lowest wheel and packing it with branches is how you got yourself properly stuck. Using a kinetic strap to jerk the P-Series out would've also worked rather than getting pulled with a weak rope, which coupled with the spinning wheels just dug yourself deeper. Lesson's learned, I hope? That LTD is a very capable 4x4, just the tyres and ground clearance hold it back.
