- Fire damage in this update is REAL. When you are on fire, you take damage from 2 sources. The Burning damage which isn't too bad. and the Heat damage. This is what does most of the damage. It is important that you have your heat resistance to +3 (no more red bars on the thermostat at the bottom of your hud). This means you are immune from heat damage. You can achieve this with a set of heat resistant armor (+2), and a thermal or multiclimate undershirt. -Rocket Launcher is your friend on the oil rig. It can 1 shot all of the mobs. - You may also want to start adventuring with a few gobfins on your team. Their passive is to increase the payer's damage... from 10% to 20% when fully compressed. Add Vanguard as a passive, and each gobfin on your team gives you +30% attack. Add Stronghold, and each also gives you 10% defense. (Gobfins are easy to max out their compression 30 minutes at gobfin 's turf and you will have enough to max out 4 of them). - There are 4 possible locations for the big chest, but there is only 1 at a time. Once you get the hang of it (and better damage), it takes about 7 - 10 minutes to do pretty casually. Just ignore the turrets.

The big chest spawns in one of those 4 locations everytime the oil rig resets (32 minutes). It will never be in multiple spots at once.

I certainly hope they eventually start adding and diversifying the Pal types. (Bug/Insect, Flying/Air, psychic, ghost/spirit, ect..) That and more base building basics like triangle foundations/floors/roofs, half walls, open frame walls (double doors, garages), and the such. Pretty much just copy what Rust and many other survival base builder games have. More utilities is nice, but bases still just look like big cubes, even more so than Minecraft due to the scale.😅 Eventually, it's early access, but base design, and aesthetics are pretty paramount in games like these today. I'm certainly anxious/excited to see where we will be sitting at the one year mark.

Just so you know - there are THREE meteor pals. One only appears in Sakurajima, the others... well, it depends on where the meteor strikes. If it strikes a green area, you get one - and if it strikes a desert, you get the other. They MIGHT appear in areas they don't "like"... but not in Sakurajima. In Sakurajima you only get the girl.

With Stair Blueprint out, Hold Alt. (Change Building Mode) Will move the stairs to attach to the foundation going down.

Question are you using a mod? How did you get the stairs to attach and go into the ground?

Galeclaw was such a game changer when I tried using it as a glider too. It’s so much better than any of the other gliders.

Why does your grizzbolt do so much damage? Because mine only did 60 a hit not 200 to marcus and faleris

arena bosses like penking are a 1 hour timer, but overworld enemies are after 1 day night cycle. This includes legendaries. The overworld bosses can also be affected by spawnrates. I hunted blazamut for the gold ar and it spawned 3 at a time, with upped catchrate that's 6 rolls per day cycle. And I accidentally forgot to turn it off after bone farming for cement and yeah it did spawn 3 frostallions.

Only Bosses in those circle thingy´s got 1 hour real time re-spawn. Open world/Cave bosses spawn at dawn, every in-game day.

Dont use relaxasourus at the base to much they eat lots of food (idk if im right) also if you use lyleen (you can search how to breed one or go to the wildlife sanctuary at the desert) and arazobe (one of the water bosses) and use the podeom type thing (i think ur figure it out) and make it so arazobe only does watering and lyleen only does gathering and planting you can get 1k berries an hour ish (Place berry plantations down and thell do it , make sure you have animbus to trasport the berries to) Yes i knoe jormentide is level 4 watering but arozobe is level 3 but doent get stuck as easy or you can breed a jormintide to get a snaller version Hope this helps! You could of used pengullet’s rocket launcher

Once I defeated all the bosses and captured all the Pals I turned off decay in settings so I could build outside of my base. I built a base on one of those rock pinnacles just for fun, built several houses on waterfalls, built some tree houses, etc, but I didn't see any reason to move any of my bases there. I have one base on a waterfall and two bases on plateaus that have iron and coal so I don't have any need for another ore base. But it is fun to try different building techniques.

If you put all the beds in an enclosed structure they can't reach, they'll just sleep wherever they are rather than having to walk over to a bed and they will still regenerate SAN just the same.
