I genuinely regret not getting mine sooner. It brings PC gaming to my TV in a fairly seemless way and the on-the-go capabilities for work AND productivity if you so choose are phenomenal.

I definitely do favor Cloud, but he and Link were my first real favorite game characters as a kid. Swords, it's probably the Swords.

It's more of a dig against the others because aside from the Switch (which still took 2 gens to get it right) they don't have this and rely on the dock supporting it and having no option of their own. I went into this one only knowing about the performance and the detachable controllers so I was impressed by how much thought went into this one.

I had the OLED and was afraid of going to a non OLED handheld but the Legion screen is amazing on its own way and I didn't want to use the deck anymore after getting it. I sold the deck OLED shortly after.

@shaolin95 the steamdeck really needs a refresh.. they need a premium model!!!

@@BDOGreatSaiyanMan They did do one for the OLED but it doesn't necessarily address any gaming performance issues seen. It's great, but mine is mainly for emulation until I get it rigged properly on the Legion Go.

As much as I love the Deck, I'd have to agree. It's the weakest Handheld PC performance wise of the 3 I have and have reviewed. The Switch doesn't count as it's still a dedicated console.

That's how we like to do our reviews, I may be a fan of it but it realllly depends on a person's use case. I mean they really should have added touchpads for easier Mouse control when working docked on Windows. It's a great little console though.

Yes that is excellent feedback, I suffer from pretty severe ADHD and it can make it very difficult to stay on task with these ones, there's a pretty night and day difference between this one and my ROG Ally one with respect to this. I appreciate any and all feedback, so thank you so much. Definitely something I'll be doing for the longer videos. Our next one is utilizing this tactic.

I did not originally have high-hopes in terms of appearance but the transparent grey smoke (reminds me of the N64) and the Orange just go together so nicely.

Hey DeliriumSlayer! That is a fantastic suggestion we are actually testing some new filming methods on the videos that are coming out later today for the ROG Ally and OLED Steam Deck. The angles SHOULD be better there.

Thank you for being so darn kind! I actually have few from them now. They even do some replicas that are pretty solid. I'm not 100% sure if I did a video on the other one I have but it has a guard around the hilt, like half a keyblade hilt, it's fantastic. I also recommend Kyberlight if you ever want the feeling of customizing your own lightsaber in real time with your own hands coming son.

The time mechanic does get a little annoying when you're working through dungeons, because if you run over time you have to reacquire the maps when you go back in. You never lose key items at least. Scalpers are the worst part of this hobby, they make it unbearable. I hated how they went from announcement to release in only two weeks time. I pre-ordered the moment I heard because I know what was going to happen with it.

So I can tap the power key in a swing and it will flicker like a bolt deflection but from what I could see there is no pulse, wave, or controllable flicker settings.

On crsabers u can either get baselit or the higher tech xenopixel which has the cool effects you may see like rainbow lightsaber ignition effects etc

I had the pleasure of meeting these gents at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo and it was quite pleasant. Awesome quality sabers, I recommend their character sabers, super high quality.

So for my edition, I went with the 64GB, but I purchased a 256GB Micro SD card. You can very easily move content from one place to the other too. I used most of the space for Steam games but ended only needing 1 or 2GB to put my ROMs on. In my case though I was only working with Nintendo ROMs (I own all physical copies) and so newer games may need more space than that.
