I've found a work around. If you grab the painting from the VIP invitation cabinet you can throw the painting on the ground (after you have the validated invitation) on the other side of the room from the guard with the blue keycard. He will see the bag and walk towards it, let him get close but make sure you pick it up before he gets to it and that will reset the guard when he gets back to his initial position. Congratulations you've learned how to outsmart a bug. You should probably pin this comment.

I got hit with this and it sucks so bad maaannnn

It's a bug, another bug I found on other levels on Overkill is that it won't let you lock pick doors without having to mask up. I thought it was a difficulty thing but this is the only level in which it doesn't require to mask up for the pick locks of doors.

Trying to find something to correct this bug cause I've been having it on every one of my overkill try so far and it's just so annoying cause it's so obviously not supposed to be a thing and it doesn't occur to me on lower difficulty

Restarting the game from the head menu works for me. It works one time. If you restart after you've had acces to the VIP and restart. The bug accurs and the VIP tickets dissapear when u authenticate them. Restart the game, and you refresh al the spawn points.

Put the unlock cuffs perk on steal card, open door get arrested in front of door. Door opens pick cuffs walk right in

Same issue on very hard funny because it’s my 3rd playthrough after he let me in the first 2 times without any issues

On level Very Hard and it does that same bug for me. It's very annoying.

I had a similar issue during the 3 day pre release, and I just had it again today with a friend, I think when we grab a painting it sequence breaks the level. Though for me it deleted the VIP card and I couldn't acutally hold it. Yours doesn't do that.

If you wait till the right guard stand in front of the door, use the skill from the hacker tree to disrupt the left one, and you can open the door freely. If u do the vip shit beforehand it still works. Little work around until it’s properly fixed

Yea I ran into this it has to be a bug very frustrating I tried 7 restarts every time this bug happens

A lot of people were mostly mad than upset about how Joel died. Probably because it isn’t like Lee’s death from TWD which is actually sad. Or Arthur’s death from red dead redemption. Which is actually sad. Joel’s death mostly enraged people because he was tortured, spit on and be said to burn in hell. Plus waiting for 7 years and this is what you get. All of that happening so early in the game. But that alone isn’t the only reason why people are so mad. I will not spoil though.
