You can go to the collection tab in your menu, highlight Zain and you’ll have the necessary requirements for unlocking him somewhere on the screen. If I remember correctly, there are two requirements. Don’t remember the first one, it had to be relatively easy, since I had already completed it even before looking it up. The second one is to get a certain number of kills with underbarrel grenade launchers. The SFAR is the only weapon that has a grenade launcher unlocked straight away. If you’re having troubles getting kills with it you can always grind in solo mode with bots, shouldn’t take too long.

@@Ionkno12 you could grind kills with m5 till you get the grenade launcher for it, but I think by that time you’ll get the sfar

Edit: though to be honest I pumped up the difficulty in my second play-through so I'm not sure if it was because of that, just in case, do that too on your second play through.
