How did you make out? Hopefully you were able to get all you needed. We didn't limit out until we came back for a day trip.

@@dr.mooseak15 I caught ten nice sized ones and the following week got another 8 at Kasilof, was my first time dipnetting.

@@Settlingintoalaskaliving You did pretty well for a first time trip. The run this year was pretty decent. Hopefully it will be better next year.

@@dr.mooseak15 yeah I caught a couple close to home at Fish Creek dipnetting out by the mouth….tried a few times for shore then did it from a kayak.

@@Settlingintoalaskaliving Had friends who went out to fish creek before say the same thing-boat/kayak is the way to go there. I went there once and was "discouraged" by the mud

I'm sure you've already thought of these things but my heart just really goes out to you and beautiful Huckleberry. Please don't stop looking, let your instics guide you and don't give up hope 🙏 Please God give them a miracle 🙏 Please God 🙏.

@@juliancornelius3682 It goes out quite aways, there are some parts that shallow out and come close to the roadside further down into the Butte, but have not seen nor heard anything yet. Will keep looking, I drive past there almost on a daily basis anyways, so I am able to check several times daily.

@@dr.mooseak15 ok, get some food and some of his toys and some of your socks etc for scent and drop them along the way so if he's lost he can find them and follow them home. Get a whistle and whistle for him along the way I'm just trying to think of things that I would do. God I hope he is ok and you find him 🙏

I enjoyed the livestream the other day-glad I was online when it started. Your kitty Sadie has quite the personality!

The food is excellent. the new owners are pretty cool people too. They did a special Mexican Food menu for Conco de Mayo. Good Mexican food is hard to find in Alaska.

When we first walked by, we didn't know it changed ownership. Knowing that, we gave them another shot and we were not disappointed, it was excellent food!

I Think That's Exactly What He Was Thinking & Saying With That Body Language!!! Skinny is one of the 2 boys-he & Fausten. Selena & Sparta are our 2 girls. Lightning & Sylvester were the other other 2 girls. Fun Fact: Lightning, Sylvester, Sparta, Skinny, & Fausten are all siblings. We got them all from a guy that we sold a sink to. He told us he had some kittens if we were interested when they got older. When he brought them, we had to keep them all! Selena ended up being a rescue kitty. We caught her in a live catch trap using steak in our backyard during the first snowfall of winter. Given Alaskan winters and that we are on 8 acres up on the mountain top in pretty close to the middle of nowhere, I doubt she would have survived the winter.

It was great. Skinny & Fausten went outside with us. Selena & Sparta stayed inside. They got to enjoy some steak grease with their cat food! 😸😼

The holy cow became cooked steak . . . hehe

This has to be one of my favorites! I was walking by to the kitchen and saw the light shining out of the box-so I did a double take, then had to run and get my phone to record. He liked the box because he didn't budge from it!
