These people always want to use starting fluid on gasoline and small diesels, NEVER do this. Spray some mixed gas, you get the same effect, and lubrication. I see all sorts of damage from starting fluid.

Dont listen to any negative comments... theres always negative people that will try run you down to make themselves feel better.. i enjoyed the video. A constructive suggestion id make is with the audio itd be better if the mic stayed on and didnt cut to silence between everything you say that would make for a much better video. Those dunlops are bad for creating little rubber bb's in the tire.

Man I have run Namura pistons in a lot of 4 wheelers and bikes. Two and four stroke and I have never had any issues with them. Ofcourse if you can afford a higher end piston...go for it, but Namura pistons are great in my book. I've run the 💩 out of them on Predator 500's to CR 80's. Others may say different but I don't care.

The e spark plugs are junk I’ve had the spark till you put it in the engine an won’t run

Mikuni carbs are pretty good. Chinese carbs are junk they make the bikes run like crap.

I love them z400s as long as you run a manual timing chain tensioner and a good brand timing chain and guides they will run great for awhile. Them stock timing chain tensioners are junk and the spring they have in them or to stiff cousing the timing chain to wear faster . As long as you kno how to run a manual tensioner you can double the life of timing chain an guides but you can’t over adjust you need to kno when your chain life is about over that’s why people hate them becouse they don’t kno how to run them

Clean and rebuild the carburetor, check the fuel tank and they should run ,I have a 2000 250 trailblazer that my 9 year old loves ❤️

The injector is prolly the issue. Always the issue and pump etc. the fuel systems were junk on these after few years. Motor sounds fine idk why homie was talking about in chat about valves. I hear zero valve noise.

I don’t see coolant in over flow which is kinda worrying me.. should be some in there.. k&n air filters flow well but are trash. UNI only. Learn from us people chat who’ve been there done it do not run k&n idc how well it flows. Even a pre filter won’t stop what a uni will. Also that air box should be flush with plastics it gets bolted on underneath. U should just hit me up dude I know these well

Hinson clutch and cover 400-500$ alone, flexx bars 200$ used, yosh full exhaust easy 500$ used or more, stem 150-200$, bead locks look like alba which are solid another easy $$$, cherry bombs sell for decent money. If u part this out alone ur gonna double ur money. Idk why he would sell that that cheap… no brainer $

These were notorious for fuel injector issues and electrical gremlins I had a jet lab carb swapped one with yosh kicker BTW I see 3k of parts alone

probably just worn rings causing the slap. replace the rings and check the rod bearing while in there. Couple hour job is worth it to get around $1000 profit instead of no profit.

For everyone using loctite make sure everything is clean ,no oil or grease in bolt holes and on bolts , and buy the locate primer , yes it does make a difference, I use it at work all the time !
