That was a nasty chain! This unit must have been running without oil to cause the chain to bound up like that. I agree with your conclusion that it probably needs a new crank. Thank you for the video!

My 04 z 400 had the one way bearing bolts backing out and that’s how I got the bike cheap couse dude out like 3 stators in an the bolts always backed out . The bike was in show room condition and I fixed the stator and put new one way bearing in with better bolted and strong locktite an i tourqe them just a lil over spec an never had a problem

You have an LT450R intake tube mod on that one. Crankcase breather was modded into the side of the tube as well
