Great presentation. I think it would have been useful to explain how tusla operates. My understanding is they are linked to legislation that assume their staff are fully trained to deal with child welfare issues, mental health assessments, supervised visitation etc. They are also in charge of tracking unaccompanied minors and the children of asylum seekers using finger printing in conjunction with the gardai. They also work with the HSE in highly sensitive cases. There have been coverups, collusion and blatant abuse of ordinary citizens supported by different organs of state with tusla pulling the strings. I can't believe they haven't been shut down. I have looked into parental alienation and I don't think it can be dismissed offhand. Not allowing a child access to both parents is a form of alienation when the court order is in place. It effects the childs relationship with extended family members, bonding experiences are limited and the overall access is effected.

The Irish men should fight for their Irish women.

My experience of Dundalk is that it is a shit hole where residents should be more concerned about each other than about foreigners. The place is a Kip.
