The kids menu has less food so it’s less expensive. People are saying it’s cus the restaurant loses money and a lot of the time it’s something that’s on the regular menu but it’s all about portion sizes that’s why it’s a kids menu cus they eat less than adults. Also it heavily depends on the restaurant if it’s something only kids can get or not

It should 100% be allowed. Im saying this as an autistic individual with food sensory issues. I struggle going to restaurants and finding foods i can actually eat and a lot of time the "simpler" foods which i like are only on the kids menu. For example chicken tenders, sometimes they won't have that on the adult menu so i wouldn't have anything to eat otherwise. I kind of need to order off the kids menu since its the only way for me to eat. Also kids menus have smaller portions, your paying less, youre getting less. I see that as fair. Letting people order off the kids menu should be common

Honestly I didn't think of portion size or cost. I just grew up poor and never had the chance to have a lot of things, especially when it came to different food and fast food (in my country is cheaper to buy vegetables than fast food) So now as an adult sometimes I buy candys or desserts or things in kids menu just to see if I truly missed out on things growing up

I always order from the kids menu because I have a small stomach and I usually say I don’t mind paying the normal price I just don’t want to waste food this usually ends with me getting the kids size portion and still having leftovers and sometimes they charge the normal kids price

I have a couple friends with eating issues form stomach surgery to dietary restrictions so the quantity of a full portion for the cost or menu options do not physically work and can actually dictate where they eat and kids means are the option they go for

The kids menu rarely has anything that's not on the main menu. Save for like Store Bought Chicken Nuggets and shit like that. Nobody in the kitchen gives a hoot if you order off the kids menu. Only person who cares is the waitstaffers' wallets.

Not every man is like that!!! I get that your man is making you miserable but if you don’t speak what you truly want he won’t know to do better.
