I just bought the 2024 Heritage Classic here in Australia and I have to say we are limited with coours. Luckily I just wanted Vivid Black with black trim.

Back in the late 70's I had a sportster made by the bowling ball people. I only weighed 175 back then so it got me around are right. You knew when it was time to add oil because it would quit leaking oil. Ahh American Machine and Foundry you got to love them. My 99 Electra Glide has 58000 miles, don't leak a drop and is stone cold reliable. They have come a long way since the bowling ball days.

If you want to tighten your front shocks up just change your shock oil to performance heavier weight oil.

They came with canned Ham air cleaners

Put the oil cooler up under the triple tree not down low where it will catch hell from street gravel and lose all the engine oil and ruin the engine before you even notice anything!!

You are very fortunate to have had a friend who took great care of his Ironhead Sporty. She’s a beautiful and well preserved machine with tons of life left in her. Ride with pride brother, she deserves to be ridden. I hope to one day find an old Ironhead in similar condition to round off my collection. I currently have a full dresser and a Heritage Softail and would like an old Ironhead Sporty to complete the set.

I understand that this year, 2024 will be the last year for the limited. Dealers in Orlando are giving out ok prices on this. I seem to like the other model limited. 2025 you’ll be picking certain packages to finish of the regular bike.

Bought this as my first bike to learn on and grow into. Looks like i made a good choice. I picked it because it looks great, lightweight, and rider aids and power to ease into. I've started out in rain mode until i get use to handling it, looking forward to getting up to sport mode

I have a 2022 build Halcyon 250 with the motocult stage 4 plus engine power upgrade, now I have 23.5 HP to the rear wheel, it is a cruiser! And very light, less than 280 lbs. most fun I have ever had on 2 wheels!

Is it oil cooled (thermostat and radiator)? I believe the term ‘twin cooled’ meant that the two separate heads are liquid cooled only. Unless I am blind.

Still a "bitch bike". What an abortion that shift lever is. H-D made total garbage under AMF ownership. That welded up flat stock frame was an insulting downgrade from the lugged and brazed original.

I just bought a 2920 883 iron and am 65 years old. When you ride a sportster you know you are on a bike. I love it. My 2014 cb1100 is too smooth.
