Perfect Caramel Sauce Recipe: Sweet, Creamy & Irresistible!
Elevate your desserts with my caramel sauce recipe! 🤎
This caramel sauce recipe yields a rich and creamy sauce with an extraordinary shine. After rounds of trials, I’ve finally perfected a fail-proof recipe for novice and experienced bakers alike.
This dreamy sauce can be drizzled on cakes, and ice creams or used as layering for desserts. What makes this recipe special is its unique balance- it’s sweet yet not overwhelming. 🙌🏽
Recipe:
-Heat 1 cup of granulated sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly using a wooden spatula.
(Sugar will melt into a thick brown coloured
liquid as you continue to stir it. Be careful not to overcook it and do not let it burn).
-Once sugar is melted, stir in 6 tbsp of unsalted butter at room temperature.
(Be careful as the caramel will bubble rapidly as butter is added. Whisk continuously)
-Add 1/2 cup of Amul cream, stirring constantly. Let it boil for a minute and switch off the flame.
-Remove from heat and add 1 tsp of salt.
-Cover tightly and store in fridge. As and when required microwave the sauce and use.
