Optimus is a true real world leader. He’s the first to jump into a battle, not afraid to get his hands dirty and doesn’t wait for the enemy to give exposition before kicking their butts. He wastes no time and I love that about him. I mean he freakin’ kills Megatron without hesitation 😂

Decepticons made out of loose junk 😂 It's crazy how sluggish the Decepticons move when they fight and how they can't even lift their arms or weapons to swing, as if they're not really trying. That's the major flaw for these films, Optimus just goes into cutscene anime mode and the enemies just wait to get dismantled. Very boring fight scenes with just a mess of explosions.

I think I was about 12-13 when the first film dropped. I'd never been a real Transformers fan but had seen some episodes when I was younger. My prevailing thought watching it - even at that age and despite enjoying it - was "... this was a kids' show..."
