I'm not even sure why the Lexus LX is on this list. By no means is it's interior opulent. The interior looks dated and cheap. The rankings are wrong. The Lincoln Navigator and Infiniti QX80 are far more luxurious than the jeep. They should have been ranked higher than the jeep. This list is totally of. The Lincoln and infiniti should have ranked higher than the Mercedes-Benz GLS.

Escalade is on another level. Higher.

Navigator needs to be higher

I own a fully restored, fully built 1997 Series 80 Land Cruiser, and while it's an incredible vehicle, it undeniably lacks the modern features and conveniences of SUVs built nearly three decades later. It's also too big and bulky for daily driving. Don’t get me wrong-it’s fantastic for overland adventures, but as a day-to-day ride? Not so much. I also have a 2013 Land Rover LR4 HSE, another impressive SUV. It's well-built, powered by a V8 with plenty of punch, and performs exceptionally on and off the road. However, with 80,000 miles on the clock, it's starting to show its age, which has led me to explore potential replacements. Recently, I test-drove both the new Land Cruiser and the Grenadier. To my surprise, I was shocked by how small the cabin felt in the new Land Cruiser. At 6’5”, I simply don’t fit comfortably in this downsized SUV. It left me wondering-what’s the real difference between the Land Cruiser and the 4Runner now? The lines are starting to blur. I also considered the Land Rover Defender. Unfortunately, I think Land Rover has lost its way. In my opinion, abandoning the original Defender platform was a big mistake. The new Defender feels more like a luxury SUV than the rugged, utilitarian icon it once was, and its new size doesn’t work for me either. This misstep has opened the door wide for the Grenadier to fill the void. As for the G-Wagon? Forget it. The price is absurd for what you get, and honestly, I’d be afraid to take it off-road and risk even a single scratch. The same goes for the new Range Rover-beautiful vehicles, but they’ve strayed too far into luxury territory for my taste. The Grenadier, on the other hand, stands out. It has everything I’m looking for in a capable SUV, with a price tag under $100k that doesn’t alienate tall drivers like me. In my opinion, it’s the best option for those of us who value capability, durability, and space. Grenadier gets my vote, hands down.

After driving both vehicles (Lexus GX550) the Toyota is solid and capable. The Yukon is just a step above with power train, inside dimensions, and luxury options. I really like my 2025 Yukon Denali.

X7 is way better than Escalade

He mentioned 19 speakers in the nautilus when in essence it has 28. He also never mentioned the fact that the nautilus has to this day the best hands free driving experience.

Video is not accurate for Odyssey. Shown is a 2024 with the old exterior styling and interior features, not a 2025. And the rear TV only comes with the top two trim levels. I feel the 2025 Odyssey is very refined when compared to the blowfish looking Sienna that seats only 7 in upper trims. Here it only snows 2 days a year so we can trade in the 2025 when a hybrid/awd Odyssey comes out. The front seats of Sienna also feel coffin like with that “bridge” the gear shifter sits on. And according to Consumer Reports…..Honda Odyssey is the 5TH most American made car!!!!

Great review. Can't wait for part two. No ergo active seats? And the removal of the sliding/reclining rear seat was a clear missed opportunity. While they were at it, VW should have upgraded that ugly steering wheel. Man does it look cheap.

The 4 cylinder in the Grand Highlander was and is a horrible engine choice, it gets bad gas mileage, it vibrates too much, and it works too hard to get up to speed, turbos don't last, and I don't want a hybrid, it should have a V6

I prefer the navigator. The Interior is superior to an Escalade. I do like Escalade as well. Both are good if you care about luxury, performance but not gas mileage :)
