AIA Cincinnati shares videos of our virtual Custom Residential Architecture Network awards program (CRANawards) and other videos about architects and their work in the nine southwestern Ohio counties we serve.
New Refrigerants, New Requirements
In 2025, manufacturers will be required to use low GWP to meet the maximum GWP requirements set by the U.S. EPA. To meet these requirements, manufacturers are being forced to use more 2L rated refrigerants that increase the flammability rating of these refrigerants. This increase in flammability requires more safety precautions during design that impact mechanical and other disciplines, including architectural. This session covers the outlook of the GWP requirements and provides insight into the new requirements due to these increased flammability requirements.

Thank you for the Video. In question 5, why would the architect be responsible for the owner's consultants' work? As such, option 6 would not matter to the Architect.
