Love the interview. This channel is so important. As Magicians we have to always keep evolving and add new material. I know Magicians who have done like the same 5 tricks for 20 years and they are not getting booked anymore. Think of it this way if you were at a party or event would you like it if the DJ played same 5 songs all night long and at every subsequent party you will attend.

I am using a new pen, Q-Connect. The ink on court cards is very clear. The nib is a little thicker but drys just as fast. It is practically blasphemy to suggest this, but they are better and clearer than Sharpie. Still, the Sharpie pen has cornered the market with gimmicks. I remember when Betamax versus VHS came along. VHS won, but Betamax was the better product.

Always great!! I also love Houdini deck!! Gets great reactions. The use of the lock people don’t see this as another card trick! They ask for the trick with the “lock”. I tell the story that Houdini started as the King of Cards but switched over to escaping. I can’t escape anything and can’t afford those tricks but going to combine the 2, then bring out the lock and cards! Thanks for reviewing and bringing it back!
