Our Jefferson Highway Convoy stayed at Hatbox Field 16 OCT 2024 and watched the Muskogee HS Jazz Band perform Saint James' Infirmary. It was thrilling. I am honored to have seen this, honored to have visited your town in Oklahoma, and I am happy to highlight the artists recorded here. All credit, copyrights and NIL are due their respective owners.

We departed Big Brutus in West Mineral, Kansas and entered Missouri for breakfast at the Joplin regional airport, back into Kansas and into Oklahoma on Route 66. Stopped at the Hi-Way Diner for lunch and eventually on into Hatbox Field, Muskogee OK for an amazing dinner and concert by the Muskogee High School Jazz Band and singer Cece Otto.

Fort Scott, KS to the Lord's Diner in Pittsburg, KS The Lord's Diner is a non profit run through the diocese that makes free meals for the working poor and the homeless in Pittsburg, Crawford County, Kansas USA. It brought tears to my eyes to hear that there is a place people can receive free meals any day of the week. The food was DELICIOUS

We begrudgingly left Walker, MN this morning on Leech Lake and made our way south towards Camp Ripley NGMN. Visited the military museum there and got to see a M1 up close for the first thing - those big beautiful things! Had some late night visitors 😉 BE ADVISED - TROUBLE WITH WIFI AND UPLOADS PLEASE BE PATIENT WE WILL GET CAUGHT UP EVENTUALLY
Good job guys! Love your solos!!!
Brutus makes the Northwest 95 dragline I operated look like a tinker toy!
The two red and blue jeeps that were in the front yard of a house between Indianola and Osceola (red jeep partially buried) is a political statement. The guy is apparently a hard-core democrat and periodically changes the display. A while back they were arranged in a way so the blue jeep appeared to be humping the red jeep.
Extremely interesting bit of local information, thank you very much for sharing that! Sad to see those poor jeeps in such a state - Oh, the Humanity!
@@ConvoycrazyMy thoughts exactly....at one point one of the jeeps was painted pink. Couldn't help but be embarrassed for it.
Wow, that's awesome 👍😎
If you want rest days, you should sign up for one of Trooper Tyree's convoys. Our next: "Show Me More" convoy begins and ends at Silver Dollar City at Branson in April. Three stops: Branson, Eureka Springs & Harrison, AR; two-nights in Branson & Eureka Spring & three nights in Harrison.. 200 miles of back scenic winding roads over eight days. Only four openings remain.
I have lear lot from this one, thank you
13 already ✌️😎
History and scenery are what Trooper Tyree's HMV convoys are all about. Come join our tours.
I finally got to see Mike (Ned Kelly) and Diana. :)
Looks like Missouri is treating you well! 👏🏼
Rex .. Mighty MO was very kind to us! Sometimes it's a pity we're in and out so fast! "The Fast Burn"!
❤❤❤love you videos, the just get better and better ❤
🙏🏼 thank you very much - I am always trying to make better videos!
Hi Johnny
Hi Cari3619 .. have we met? 👋🏼
Gary is my dad and my sons Dylan and Brayden who left a comment. 🙂
Great to see your family and Ol' Recon again .. I hope to see them in the future. I think about you all a lot! Hope to see you all on the Lewis & Clark trail, 2026
I hope so!!
Been meaning to ask if the M38A1 and the M151 dropped out because of mechanical issues or were they just doing part of the convoy? Looks like a good turn out of M37's.
I sure hope that you appreciate the beef jerky. Have you seen the price of that stuff??? 😲 Was it you that got the axle seated? You never said. I hope that Tom gets his Mighty Mite running properly. 🤞
Mr. Martin sad it all❤❤❤
What also fascinates me also are the water towers. Everyone slightly different in shape
Hey Johnny
Heads up convoyors. Trooper Tyree's HMV convoy for 2025 is the "Show Me More" convoy starting from Silver Dollar City and returning. (4 slots remain) For 2026 we plan to traverse the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. Across the Wide Missouri convoy will traverse the state from one Octoberfest to another in 2027. Trooper Tyree Tours or watch our convoy videos on UA-cam. All our tours are roundtrip affairs. Scenery and history are what we do.
Wow,great day,love that Vietnam women story,nice people to meet.keep in,stay strong 🤘🤘👍✌️
Johnny, what do you guys use for com's? I did not recognize the radio in the ammo can in one of your vids. I also see that you have a hand held clipped to your vest. Thanks, Tibbs.
Hey Tibbs sharp eye I have a kenwood mobile in the jeep and the handheld is also a kenwood - they're programmed to fmrs channel 18 sub 19 I believe but I'm not a radio guy they've been programmed by the convoy!
@Convoycrazy Roger that. Thank you for the response. Looking forward to your southern movement. We'll be watching. Safe travels to all you convoy crazies. God bless the USA. 🇺🇸
Thanks for the interesting segment presented by Mavis.
I couldn't let that story get away! And I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I did
Wow! Mavis was quite a gal. Then and now.
Sometimes leadership positions are as difficult as herding kittens in a box. Just remember you can't please everyone or fix stupid. Be yourself, stay cool and enjoy the convoy like you have in the past. I see you have some other vehicles that joined the convoy. That M1009 is the way to go for a convoy vehicle. It may not be as neat as a jeep, mutt, M37, deuce or 5 ton but its weatherproof and quieter. You can also take that rear seat out and use the back area to set up camp. 😄
Convoy people talking bad about you??!!
Great video Johnny, enjoyed seeing Midwest Military. Over the years I've ordered parts from there and John has always taken the time to send me exactly what I needed. Often parts that I couldn't find anywhere else. Sorry to hear that things aren't going all that great but hopefully it will turn around. Keep up the good work.
I live in Hutchinson. And I saw you the cars where cool 😎
Thank you for stopping by! We were in Hutch in 2021 also and did a parade around town during the Yellowstone Trail convoy. Love that city. Thanks for having us!
My Dad has the same welder and I need to move it.
Any idea the weight on that welder?
It's in the owners manual I believe it's around 1,100
@@Convoycrazy thanks, I appreciate it.
Everything seems to be going well for the War Horse dragging that Ben Hur and Shelter behind it. Hopefully you'll get into some warmer weather soon because driving a jeep in anything below 60 degrees is just miserable, not to mention any rain you run into out there. Nice to see some of the Guardsmen hanging out with you guys and I see they brought the required cooler of adult beverages with them too. The best part is interacting with the kids and letting them touch and crawl around in the vehicles. Have to get the next generation interested in the hobby or it will literally die off. I see more older than younger folks on the convoy probably because of the work thing. Not everyone has an employer that will let them take 30 days off. Stay safe and keep on jeepin on. 😉
Keep on Jeepin on Tim! You are absolutely right. Their unit runs the mobile ATC that sits on a stewart & stevenson. They told us about their work a little bit .. really cool. Was honored to be allowed in there
Yeah, beautiful towns,and people, that's America ❤❤❤❤
Here's a video I shot from my M931 of the convoy passing just before the 1st morning stop in Osceola, Iowa. Wish I had the CCKW I'm restoring done so I could join the convoy! ua-cam.com/video/vDmgyiwyTu4/v-deo.html
We saw you!! There was chatter about a missing heavy! 😂👍🏼 thanks for the link!
@@Convoycrazy I'm the guy that spoke to you briefly just before you went to dinner last evening. Have fun and best of luck!
@3:46 THAT'S THE BIGGEST BLACKEST D*CK I'VE EVER SEEN!!
Great, love the camp story, you learn something new everyday ❤❤❤
I'm glad you enjoy! 🙌🏼 Roosevelt had some amazing ideas! 😍
Thanks for climbing the fire tower and giving us the view! 🔥🇺🇸
Beautiful sunset!
Another nice one ❤❤❤
Do you know the the Minnesota State bird is the mosquito. .
"You betcha!" 😂
👍👍
Johnny, say hi to Ken, Roxy, and Ann Adams from Masshole Tibbs, and Diane. Also, did I see Tom Price there? I used to crew Toms Amtrack at Conneaut. Happy trails everyone. ❤ 👍
You did see Tom! He's here with his M422 & trailer! He's such a nice guy 👍🏼 I'll pass that along
@Convoycrazy Thank you, and we wish you all many trouble-free miles to all on the convoy.
That has to be durn real dusty thar! Late in the afternoon. Ready for a shower, eh? The story of my life: I am getting deaf as a coffin nail. I guess it is the usual civic welcome!
Very ready for a shower, sometimes they're hard to come by ha ha. Thank you, Martha, for checking out my video!
Yeah❤❤
Say Hi to Kiwi Paul😁
I’m heading westbound I-90 through SD there buddy. Wife’s driving and I’m watching your videos. I’m all caught up at this point. Safe travels and its hard to hear you at times with the wind or back ground noise
Hey safe travels to you! Thanks for tuning in, I'm happy to share the convoy with everyone. I understand about the wind noise, all I have to record these videos is the same iphone I've had for many years now, I can't really afford to upgrade. I use the native software on the iphone, imovie, and upload them directly to youtube. It comes with the territory, I apologize. I looked into ways to muffle the wind noise but it's not gonna work out on the road with everything going on all the time
ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, GO🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
👏👏👏👍
Hey Johnny. What is the name of the guy from Belgium? I remember the Kiwi's from the pacific N.W. trip.
His name is Willy! He is such a nice person
@@Convoycrazy Thank You 🇺🇸
Looks like the things are getting serious ✌️
Thanks for showing the arrival of our friends Ken, Ann, and the New Zealand contingent. 🎉 👍
If anyone asked my Dad what time he got up he would not say the crack of dawn but, " The crack of stupid"😂.
Waiting for the arrival of Ken, Roxy, Ann Adam's, and Ken's buddy in the CUCV.
Hey Johnny! Looks like you're having a good time!
Hey Augustin! Thank you, I sure do live for these little adventures.. and I'm honored to be able to share it with everyone on here. Hope all is well out your way!
Looks like Squeeky is on the the convoy! Tell him hello!
I assume your name is Alfred? Not sure who is telling him hello
@@Convoycrazy sorry Its Greg Hiltgen. Witness protection name 🤭
