This is one of the examples where this cpu is not enough and needs an 7800X3D...

I recommend this cpu very much. You can't find better on am4. Even the intel counterparts are not this powerful in games. Sadly there are some games where the 4070 ti is too much :/

@@CurseRazer Yes very well said thats why i will upgrade to that CPU :) , my gpu is a Palit GeForce RTX 3090 GameRock 24GB GDDR6X.

The 5700X3D is usually more than $100 cheaper than the 5800X3D and the performance is similar. Might be a better option for you.

I used pbo2 tuner application to reduce wattage by -30 on all cores. It retains the full performance of the cpu and it is 10-15 celsius cooler. Aaand it boosts to 4,45 ghz by itself. If it is unstable for you, you can increase it by 5 watts and find the perfect underwatt. If you are lucky like me, -30 watt is excellent, because thats the minimum you can go and still safe.

@@CurseRazer If you mean the curve optimizer thing in pbo settings, yeah I'm using it, set to -30 too and it runs well but it's still worryingly hot af, therefore I tried some other stuff. I might have some other differences to my BIOS settings, as far as I know: I have PBO Limits disabled (also tried the limits on auto, no difference), turned off CPU virtualization (not in PBO), and tried adjusting the actual CPU Voltage Offset(-) (now this one can lower the CPU temp but the clock speed too which is not ideal). Overall, I couldn't lower the temp without major performance loss. Followed some CPU performance tutorial vids which made me change stuff in Windows, like Registry Edits, can't tell nor remember what else, just mentioning it now, maybe these are different to your settings. I try research solutions and/or if you have anything elsecome to mind, I'd gladly appreciate it.

@@TumzunAGozi Hm, good question. Im using a Noctua nh-d14 btw, but yeah, it needs an aio… A good aio. What did you find out to decrease the temps?

@@CurseRazer My cooler is an Arctic Freezer 34 (eSports Duo), read in comments that it's pretty good, and I had to buy an AIO anyway 'cause the previous one melted off of its place or the cooler's leg simply gave up and tore off, still not sure but this is the main reason why I want lower temps. So one of the solutions is that I found a pbo setting that can limit the max CPU temp. This reliably does its job but made the outcome the same which is low temps but busted performance. Then I remembered that the PC case's airflow is... well, to put it simply, horrible (a single intake and outtake fan and there's the GPU between them blocking the flow) so I took off one of its side and that kinda fixed the performance issue. So far the max. 68C CPU option wasn't very convincing perf. wise and the 80C is but I'll keep testing.
