Great question - initially it was to have a more robust solution that does not hallucinate. Now I've switched to Retell and haven't looked back

Have come across others, including Retell, would you suggest for me to learn Retell instead of Vapi? EDIT: Just realised you made a video specifically about this :D

@@CreatureClipsShorts Depends on if you have code experience or not - for building out anything complex with VAPI you need custom LLM

@@Saiful-Basri so personally I switched over because of SIP trunks. Squads is the same but I dont believe they have the edge functions meaning there is no path condition to transition between states

It's just that it works sometimes, sometimes it doesn't and the scenario cuts just after it reach the HTTP node. I might ha missed something though let me revisit it. ​@@kevinhoganAI

@@Mexton-qs5td What is the error you are receiving if it cuts after HTTP?

It says ECONNRESET: the service is temporarily unavailable,(sometimes it works though, the biggest issue is it wasn't reliable for me) but I have manage to go around it but using a chat completion, am not sure if this is the most efficient way, but it's working for me.

It has to do with the tool calls - you need to make sure that the variables are passed correctly between tools

@kevinhoganAI I thought 10DLC and A2P regulations were nation wide. Meaning everyone that gets a call must have previously opted in and given express consent. And for robo callers and AI callers, isn't there a law saying you must disclose it's an AI bot calling?
