As someone who utilizes both an ultra-rare PS14ce and PS24ce, a D45 (has played the D200), a hummingbird ultima, and several other high end independent customs, I can safely say that nothing I’ve touched comes close to the top of the top of the line Taylors. They’re a young company, but at this point (sorry Martin fanboys) they’re leaps and bounds ahead of the other two household names once you get into that echelon and price range. Overall tonal range across various tonewoods/soundboards, playability, craftsmanship, and especially aesthetic beauty and elegance. There’s no contest in my opinion

My 400.00 Epiphone LP sounds better than both of those so, neither in my opinion.

the warmth, sustain and tone on the Gibson is by far superior. But still not worth the $4,600 dollars putting it far out of the range of the majority of musicians....

First one has a little dirtier sound Gibson a little cleaner and more powerful sound

The epiphone actually sounds brighter in sound where as the Gibson sounds more chunky.

When I was a kid I idolized Gibson because of name brand recognition. My dad who always had a somewhat casual interest in audio engineering just knew that Gibsons were a big name brand and that Metallica and AC/DC played them. So naturally I gravitated towards that. As I’ve gotten older though I’m much more of a fender guy. I think for the price point versus consistency/quality control… fender and by extension Squier cannot be beat.

The Gibson sounded better buuuut the epiphone looked better and we all know that when you’re up there, all eyes are on you.

My 1991 Les Paul Studio Lite w/ebony fretboard? Ok the 60's Les Paul Standard sounds better than the Epiphone and the Studio Lite but the Epiphone is affordable and the the Studio Lite won't break your back… or the bank😊

Buy a 200 dollar squire and put the american pickups and play if you feel like that frets are not smooth that is causing pain in your finger just suck it up

You're a great musician, but unfortunately a very unnatural presenter. Filming yourself sideways while you look away from the camera REALLY cheapens the production and makes it look like you're trying way too hard. Worry about interacting with the device instead of performing to the camera like some acting student with production concerns. So forced and unnatural. I was interested in the device, not watching someone list use cases like a VERY untrustworthy salesman. I trust that you are knowledgeable, but you will need to get rid of your director and UNLEARN whatever they said you needed to do. They don't know what they're doing at all. Just get a cameraman to film you messing around with buttons and shit while you interact with the device naturally without this forced Television Presenter wanky shit. I know you can do it. Just speak to the camera like you speak to people.

Me… Chinese Lp with invaders 😂😂😂 Gibson has proved that they are just a brand name time and time again, it used to mean something but the quality has dipped, when you pay 4K for a guitar it better be perfect and I’ve seen too many videos of Gibson lps and epiphone with serous problems considering the price you pay. Problems that really don’t matter, but again when you pay over a thousand frets should be cut perfect , the tunomatic shouldn’t wiggle, the nut should be cut correctly , the electric components should be shielded it is let down after let down . Fact is Chibsons are getting better with the same price and Gibson stays the same but increases the price
