M&ms Reese you have great taste
Looking forward to hearing your story like I know it's going to be amazing 🤩
Woah you made this tier list that's so cool. Tim Curry beat It. I think you can handle Chucky (disabled women beat him in movie 6). Also Freddy (original) doesn't read PDFs (Wes was toying with that idea in the first movie and decided to change it and made him with a disorder where he has a need to hurt anything or anyone weaker than him, but still a bad guy) Remake Freddy however ewe. will need to see smile looks interesting. some of these I never heard so love the deep dig on some these movies
Hello. Remember me?
I hope you are well.
@@TolucaTurtle Yeah. I'm feeling well. I'm supposed to talk to you on Twitter or Discord, but... you blocked me and banned me almost a year. :(
@@TolucaTurtle I'm now being a quiet person because I didn't want to record my gaming videos at all and I somewhat edit my videos once or twice on my GachaTube/UA-cam channel. I deleted my 9-year-old YT channel and my IG account, as I created the new one because there were too much dark memories in my life. I decided to fight my own mental health, my own depression all by myself because after the unfairly break-up event last year, I lost some of my friends for calling me a guilt-tripper and they blamed me for making too much drama... I have to fight my own depression by myself because I don't want to let my few friends that I have now, helped me to fight my depression... I have to do this because... this is my own punishment and... I don't want anyone to see me like this. I have been struggled and suffered a lot through a depression and I have to do this all by myself because I don't want to let my friends having a burden to help me... So, I have to fight my own depression alone... :(
@@TolucaTurtle If you don't want to talk anything to me, it's okay. I have to make myself quiet from talking anything. I guess this is my own punishment. Once again, I'm so sorry for everything.
I don't wish to bring drama here. There are many things I could say about everything that transpired, but it won't make things better. All I can do is wish you well now and hope your life is happy and healthy. I hope you take care of yourself.
i still need to pick this game up, it really is worth it because of how fun it looks
It's one of my favorite puzzle games.

I can't wait for the third one!
Very informative I learned a lot with this and the industry of writing I appreciate this so much
Glad it was helpful! I honestly never know.
ooooo i lovee the dapper hat and the black and white style, great game too!
I'm really loving The Messenger! I think it might get too difficult for me to finish, though.
Excuse me...they are SPACE dirigibles...BIG BIG difference...obv
Ah, the superior spacecraft... The Goodyear Blimp! 😆
ooooo i love the dice shell and the new outfit woop woop
Thank you. My model artist (Dinosaurolophus) is awesome. I get my outfits from Canva.
Omg this game looks so funn
I was disappointed. I think they could have done so much better. But I think I'm a little too critical every time they roll out Peach as the main protagonist.
That SAW is as big as you lol
HAPPY DAY EARLY TWO YEAR'S, CONGRATULATIONS WOOP WOOP
Thank you! I appreciate it.
i adore the hat you have on your png tuber
I actually get a lot of my assets from Canva. I don't make money off of it and tell people where I got it, so I think I'm okay.
rogue legacy 2 is such a good game honestly
It's one of my all-time favorite rogue-lites. Astral Ascent is marvelous as well.
oooo those are so pretty i want one now!
Thank you! I know crafting is a departure from my normal gaming content, so I never know if anyone cares about it.
this game is so great
I love it, honestly. One of my absolute favorites of the genre.

OOOOO THE SHOPPERS HAVE BEEN GREETED HELLO. i love the png tuber art btw!
Yup. You're all my Shellpers. It was a name voted on just a few months after I started. Otherwise, I was calling people "chat". Thank you so much for watching!
ooooooo i love the spooky pumpkin! also the game is amazing, great art style too!
Thank you! I have different shells for different holidays. The person who drew my model did an amazing job. Pumpkin Jack is a fun game. I recommend it for people who are better at platformers than I am. LOL
Love this! Perfect for October birthdays as well
I may do another card stream for Christmas. I'm glad someone actually liked it!

I haven't seen dog man in Wisconsin, but I have seen some strange things in the woods. The strangest? An animal that look like a cougar big as a yearling heifer. Translation? Had I been standing next to it the bottom of its tail would have been even with my chest and I'm 6 ft tall. Its tail? I estimate the tip of the tail was 12 ft in the air. You can think what you want, but I know what I saw.
That is massive! Where abouts in WI?
@@Lilmickcrocodiledundee0001 Adams County Wisconsin I think it was about 2,000 or so.
@@LastResort1331 where you out hunting or hiking, day or night?
@@Lilmickcrocodiledundee0001 I was out Whitetail hunting, hadn't seen a damn thing all day and the woods were dead quiet. It was probably 3:30 or so. Not To long before dark that time of year. I could hear it coming from behind me but not see it. It paused in the brush probably 20 yd from me I seen its nose sticking out of the brush. I took a quick look around to make sure nothing else was sneaking up on me and by the time I look back it had cleared a 50 yd + clearing in just a few seconds and made absolutely no noise. The last thing I saw was its behind and tail disappear around a pine tree. From behind it looked just like a cougar but it was way too big the image of the tale that was almost as high as the Pine Tree it went around is burned into my memory. I sat there for quite some time trying to make sense of what I had seen but couldn't. As Darkness loomed I realized in order to get back out to the truck I had to walk down the same path that they had taken. I walked probably a quarter-mile out of my way to avoid doing that. Along the way I made a decision if I was in that thing's grocery store, I didn't need to be because they make grocery stores just for us humans, I haven't hunted again since. Would I go out in the woods hunting if I had to? Indeed I would. But after that and a couple other odd experiences i don't really see the point. Cougars are not known to inhabit Wisconsin something that only adds to the bizarre nature of the experience. I was carrying a 308 at the time and on the way back to the truck felt under-equipped.
@Grande Gringo wow, that is scary. Never seen anything like that, I'm up by Rhinelander WI. Know some people whom have had some Dogman experiences. Definitely don't wanna run into anything like that
This was so much funn to be a part of 😊
I may keep it as a UA-cam exclusive series. It depends on if people want it.
I love shaker related stuff. That turned out really cute!
Thank you! I wanted to make this video for months now, but I couldn't get my Cricut to cooperate.
Unironically relaxing
Thank you! I'm glad it was enjoyable in some form.
Hex yeah ❤❤❤
I sound terrible. I know that. I love to sing, though. I come from a long line of musicians.
Nice bro
Thank you. I try to cover all of the DLC
Allways so cynical, I love it, especially in horror games.
My mom always said I had "wry wit". An editor for a publication I admire once called my writing talented, but caustic. It's a gift. 😂
This is such a cool idea, I also love the discord idea
I didn't know that you were a writer, too! There are a lot of us in the Vtuber world.
It definitely helped me re-lived my childhood cause we had some of the same experience with this game
Platformers are really hard for me because of the timing. I still love them, though. I should really play more retro games on my streams.
Your production value is much higher than mine *proud Otter noises* good work!
3:40 Ah that sucks, sorry to hear that. The signs do seem to point towards the meds being the likely cause from what you said. Hopefully that can get straightened out during your next visit. 4:50 It did seem a bit uninspired, yeah. I've always been a sucker for night city tracks like that one though so I didn't mind it. 6:40 What the hell, Birdo's real name is Catherine? That's news to me. Where was that confirmed? 8:10 Ah, Mario Kart 64 was another game my family always had growing up. Though it does hold a good bit of nostalgia I never really liked it that much in the first place. My family would more often than not just stick to Double Dash over it. 9:40 Ah, this is actually part of the track redesign. In the original you'd cross over the train tracks the normal way, with progress/movement completely halting if the train just so happened to be crossing over at the same time you reach it. So this redesign is actually (imo) an improvement, since there isn't that random chance of gameplay completely pausing during it. 15:00 Ah yes, Waluigi Pinball. This one was original to the DS game. It's an easy top 3 Mario Kart track for me, pretty much for all the reasons you listed. It's colorfully gorgeous, the music is top notch, it's simultaneously straightforward and chaotic, making it easy to hop into and a blast once you get it down, just a fantastic track all around. 17:10 Well, Tour is free to play. It is filled to the brim with microtransactions as is typical for mobile games though, I will give you that. I actually played it myself a while back, unsurprisingly it didn't take long for it to bore me so eventually I just deleted it. Of course I never spent a single penny on it either, because y'know, common sense. But yeah. 23:20 Funnily enough the Wii game is one of the few ones that I've never played. I really wanted to get it, but likewise with (very) limited funds it was always a "pick and choose" with entertainment. There was just always something I simply wanted more. 25:10 I mean, I personally think you're a pretty cool person. There hasn't been a single time (so far) that I've went away from a vid or stream thinking "Eh..I don't really feel like watching the next one". It's always a fun time hanging out with you, at least I think so. If you feel that strongly about it though then I guess my opinion can be chocked up to me having bad taste, lol. For Monster Rancher, really the same thing applies I'd say. The TLDR probably sounds harsh and/or nonsensical, but in short: That exact worry is completely pointless. In that, you really should just stream whatever you want to stream, regardless of how you think it might go over. If you can't bring yourself to convince yourself to go through with it otherwise, then you could just look at it as: If people really do already find you boring, then streaming a game that you think would help exemplify that point simply just wouldn't change that hypothetical pre-established opinion. So whether you do or don't stream it, that part wouldn't change either way. I see no reason to factor it into your decision making as a result. That's why if you ask me, I'll always say just do what you want. 30:00 That's pretty much how it ended up being for me too. Waluigi Pinball and Sky High Sundae are definitely the two standout ones for me as well. The other tracks were just kind of alright to me.
I hope I can figure out the medication thing, too. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like it does what it's supposed to. Is it me, or are the tracks from MK: Tour fairly lackluster so far? At least, the ones we get for the pass seem to be. Do you remember any cool ones from when you played Tour? From Wikipedia: The English manual for Super Mario Bros. 2 refers to Birdo as male, "who thinks he is a girl" and would prefer to be called "Birdetta." She's called Catherine in Japan. Totally a trans woman. MK: Double Dash was my first entry in the series. I loved the co-op aspect of it and wouldn't mind seeing a mode in the future that sort of brings it back. Not sure about having a full game with the mechanic again, though. I understand having to choose what you wanted game-wise. Do you remember what games you bought on the Wii instead? I try my best to bring something of value to the few people who come across my content. It's all I can do. Maybe I just see myself as plain because I live inside my life, but it's doubtful. Thanks, though.
Trash random item rogue like
It honestly isn't the best. Also, I beat it and the ending was non-existent. It just left it open for something they're not even going to continue... most likely.
Not sure if it means what I think it means, but during the final boss after dying it said there was an option to exchange 5000 points for "credits", which I'm presuming are the game's continues. Either way though it does suck to hear that this game was poorly done. Not having the focal selling point of the gameplay style properly working (if at all) is a massive blow to its appeal. Oh well, disappointments are unavoidable sometimes I suppose.
2:10 I say just go with the flow, if you're not in the mood for it then no reason to force yourself to push through with it. 3:55 Yeah, I wouldn't blame you for choosing to do something else. I don't really understand why she thought it was a good idea to start you out with ones that were extremely massive. If it was after a while of practice and already being (re-)familiarized with them then that'd be different, but as it stands she went a bit overboard there I'd say. 6:15 I don't necessarily think a Discord needs to bring something new per se; with how many there are I don't doubt that there's also a bunch that are simply used as a "safe haven" of sorts where people can just go to simply hang out. The fact that you're still contemplating on it though tells me that it is something you truly do want to see happen, and with that in mind there's an argument that can be made for establishing it sooner rather than later. The sooner it's taken care of, the sooner you won't have to deal with (presumably) getting it made and sorted out later when the viewer count is "there". It'd also help you familiarize yourself with maintaining it too as smaller Discords are of course easier to manage than bigger ones. As such, you could see it as a "test run" of sorts if you do make it beforehand. 10:00 What's made you take a break from movies? Is it from all of the stuff you two have been juggling and just haven't felt up to it? 12:10 I can definitely relate to that, nothing wrong with going back to an old favorite of anything. I see it as a type of "comfort food", something you know for a fact you'll enjoy. If it's what someone truly likes/loves then by all means I say. 13:10 That's just unfortunately the nature of the world; as society and its standards change people's own perception(s) change along with it. 15:10 Oh yeah, there's definitely a ton of things like that out there that get "better" (perspectively as opposed to factually/objectively) as one grows up and gets both smarter and more experienced. I think it's a really cool thing. 19:10 You're right on that, there's a number of things I loved as a kid that when going back realized how bad they really are/were. I don't think going back to them is a bad thing though even still, as it does reveal to you the "truth" about them in a sense. 25:30 Ah, yeah, I know basically nothing about Street Fighter lore wise. Fighting games in general have never really been my thing, with the only exceptions being the Smash and Dragon Ball games. 29:00 Hearing stories like that takes me back. I used to play games with my dad (and to a lesser extent my brother) all the time. Those were some good times. 30:20 I saw a report that Nintendo actually put back up the Wii (and maybe DS?) eShops again pretty recently, albeit still to a limited degree. I heard that you (still) can't buy games on the service(s) but can redownload games previously purchased. 31:25 No joke, that one person was actually me. LMAO. I didn't mind it, I thought the game was completely fine, but would quite rather see something else is all. If you want to continue with it then of course by all means feel free to. 32:05 I think you've been a great job at that so far, I always look forward to simply hanging out with you and conversing about whatever. 34:00 Approach to commentating differs from person to person obviously, but for me I always try to focus it on the specific game or series/franchise I'm playing. The amount of that of course also fluctuates depending on the specifics (how taxing it is, how much focus it requires, etc.) but generally it is what I initially resort to for commentary, and if it just so happens that it either naturally branches out after a certain point or outright lends itself to rambling then I follow suit. 36:30 I can only speak for myself, but I don't think leading a simple (boring) life is that big of a deal. It definitely lends itself to feeling like "less" of a life than the norm by proxy, but meaning in life and where one's own happiness lies are inherently such subjectively driven things that if someone is either happy with such simplicity or just can't do much but makes what they can out of the (very) limited time that's available then I think that's completely fine. I could go (MUCH) more into that type of thing, but disjointed YT comments definitely aren't the place for it. 39:15 I'd be completely down for a music stream, I think that'd be a great time. I don't think it'd be "too short" of a stream either as I wouldn't mind throwing my hat into the ring of it as well. 44:10 I know how that feels, when I was a kid I outright hated "girly" colors like pink and purple. Now I think pink is really cool and purple is one of my absolute favorite colors, I just think it looks awesome. 50:35 Lmao, that round was fucking hilarious. I have no idea why that happened but I loved it.
I try to push myself a lot. I realize it's bad for me, though. I put up the first nesting doll diamond painting on Twitter. They're double-sided, so I was able to show sort of what it looked like before and after. I'm thinking about using them for ornaments on the Christmas tree this year. You make a good point about the Discord server. Thank you. I just don't want to make something that's going to be akin to a ghost town. Yeah, movies kind of went by the wayside because of everything we're going through and doing. We might bring back the Thursday matinee, though. We both miss it. I'm not sure why some things are considered so horrible but some aren't. I really wanted to bring up a specific point about Garfield making that reference and yet kids being in active shooter drills. How they're upset about one, but then they just accept that it's how the world works now. Was there anything you appreciated more or differently as an adult that you liked as a child? Was there anything that didn't hold up for you? Every once in awhile, I think about getting back into Street Fighter, but I don't think I will. Then again, I know a former fighting game player online really hates that they're trying to make the new one more accessible. So it might be something worth checking into for me. I'll have to see. What games did you play with your dad and brother? Which ones would you like to play with them now if you could? I thought it would be you that said "no" to Little Noah. I remember you didn't really like it when I played it on stream. Sorry you were outvoted. It might be the last time I play it on stream... depending. Yeah, I don't stick to the game when I'm talking. I just follow wherever my brain decides to go. I always think I'm going to just keep covering the same ground. Especially without anyone else to talk to like during the UA-cam videos. Conversations on life can be very complicated. I'm not doing nearly what I thought I would be doing at this time in my life. It bothers me frequently. I could get into more of that someday. I could probably get away with the music stream if I made sure the VOD goes away. I wouldn't have a problem with that. Might consider it for next month. Purple is one of my favorite colors. My other favorite is red. I might have turquoise sneaking up in there at some point as well. I'm not the biggest fan of pink even as an adult, but I wear it when the mood strikes. I played this game a lot on various systems. I have never seen the pattern fall that straight. I wonder if it was a glitch. It was amazing, though.
5:05 That's what I thought too. It does bear a vague resemblance to something, just not quite sure what exactly. The only game coming to my mind is Untitled Goose Game. 6:50 The game that I instantly thought of when seeing that was A Hat In Time. To me, the artstyle, platforming and movement looked very similar. 8:00 30 Birds was actually one of the games that caught my own eye; partially due to really liking that 2D-3D gameplay design that Zelda did so well (like you mentioned) and partly from the theme of the game just catching my interest. Seems like it's going to be much more on the weird/bizarre side instead of more "safe" theming, which I appreciate. 13:30 Damn, that really sucks. I couldn't imagine losing that much progress in a game. There's been times where I've played for like 4 hours and then there was a sudden power surge, making me lose all of that from forgetting (and simply not caring enough) to save during that playtime. That happened years ago but it put me off for like a week. 26:00 I also thought that was really neat, thought it might've been something you'd be interested in but I guess not. 29:30 Yet another game that actually did catch my eye, mainly from the idea of it. I saw it as a game bringing the sayings "playing your cards right" and "dealing the hand that's given to you/you've been dealt" to the forefront. It's something that I actually would like to try out despite not caring at all about solitaire, lmao. 32:20 Yeah...I've always been glad Kickstarters are a thing since it helps pave the way for much more support for indies, but have never supported one myself for that reason you brought up. A Frog's Tale gave off huge Mario and Luigi RPG vibes though (in both its art and gameplay styles) so it unsurprisingly also interested me, but yeah. 41:00 I mean, I can see the reasoning behind showing games off again even if there's nothing new to just be like "Hey, this game hasn't been cancelled and is still a thing that's happening." Part of me does of course feel like it's a waste to have them there if there's literally nothing (new) to show, but I get where they might be coming from in doing so. Especially for indies since they're much more likely to get canned, as opposed to triple A games that can much more easily just be presumed there was a simple delay if they weren't shown off. The amount of uncertainty is on very different levels in other words. 45:05 Yes! Finally, someone said it. I'm so glad you did. Yeah, that's actually my issue with a lot of indie games in general. Be it tonally, stylistically, thematically, etc; most of them do just end up blending in and feeling same-ish to me personally. That's a big reason why I've never payed too much attention to the (overall) indie scene and instead have always sought out only the very standout ones that get a ton of (deserved) praise/acclaim and notoriety, like Shovel Knight, Hades, and what have you. I actually thought your reacting was completely fine. I enjoyed it well enough at least anyway. I think the "issue" (for lack of better wording) more lies in or from what you chose to react to, since something like indies inherently have much less topical potential discussions can branch off of compared to something long-standing like Nintendo's; where their franchises are well established and discussion could be generated from comparing and contrasting things. Favorites to least favorites and why they are, hopes for where those said new games take their direction(s) based off of their respective series, things like that.
It might be the aesthetic of Untitled Goose Game. There might be a hint of something else, too. But definitely the art style is Untitled Goose. Thank you, it was bothering me. There is a 2D game where a witch delivers stuff on her broom. And Kiki's Delivery Service is an animated movie about a girl who delivers stuff on her broom, I think. I tried A Hat in Time, and I really liked it but the map is too confusing for me... and the layout of the levels. 30 Birds is one of the more unique indie games they showcased this time. I will definitely give it that. One of the things about the Indie Showcase is they go so fast, I can barely keep up with which ones look like something I want to know more about. Yeah. I loved Spiritfarer so much I was going to recommend it to my sister and purchase it for us both to enjoy. Then the crash happened where I couldn't fix it. Put me straight off the game. I know it's on Game Pass right now if I want to take another crack at it, but it really put me off. I would be willing to check out the book game eventually. It looks a little too slow-paced for me, but I'm not sure until I see something more in-depth. How many of these games would you actually buy if you had the means? The card game doesn't exactly look like regular solitaire, so maybe there would be something there for you. There is a card game I want to check out, and it's a card game with zombies they have on the Switch. It wasn't in this Direct, though as it's out already and probably not cozy. I'm always scared something is going to get a Kickstarter and not go through. Or, it's going to be funded and come out but not as promised. It happens too often for me to be excited. Was there ever a Kickstarter project you wanted to see happen but disappeared? I like when they show me games are still going to happen. The game about the witch academy is something I hope is good enough to buy; I was glad to see it again. I kind of wish they would section off the showcase so you know which games were already shown in previous years (like "now here are updates on games you are already excited for"). There are a lot of great indies, I just wish they wouldn't fall into certain patterns. It kind of makes the ones you want drown in a sea of witches and cats and farming. Knowing me, I would like half of those games that look similar. I don't do reaction content normally. Not sure if I'll be doing anything like this again anytime soon. And, I don't want to be one of the content creators that just oohs and screams over every reveal. But I think it comes out as a bit boring. Maybe it's because a lot of it turned out to be a bit similar? No idea.
4:35 I can imagine how that would be a bag of extremely mixed emotions. It is just one of those things/situations that exemplifies both how unfair our world is and how everyone is factually different from one-another, with handling or taking everything (at least slightly) differently in their own way(s). Either way good luck with the results, recency is on your side if nothing else. 10:30 I think it muted, I didn't hear anything at least. Back when it came up the first time I was able to hear the audio but it was so quiet that I couldn't really make out what was being said, and since it was on stream it couldn't be altered anyway so I just thought it better to not bring it up. I probably still should've though for accuracy's sake, so sorry about that. That's my bad. 14:15 For my family it's the same way. They've always just ordered pizzas with toppings that cover the whole thing, and if they wanted multiple toppings they'd just get another whole pizza of that specific one. Like one pepperoni and one sausage pizza. 24:35 Yeah, again I personally thought the vast majority of what was shown in both the individual showcases and the games themselves were very "whatever", but that's just my own tastes. I think there were a few cozy games that did catch my eye but would have to go back to remember the names. 26:00 I don't doubt that a lot of their fans feel disappointed like that, at least for the time being. It's understandable since JRPG's in general (aside from Pokemon) are on the more niche side of genres. There's still that (slimmer) chance of a general direct either later this month or not long after (sometime next month) though. Time will tell. 34:50 It's been so long since rental stores and/or options for entertainment were common that I always forget they're even a thing. The first (and usually only) thing that comes to my mind when I hear that word is bills; from renting homes and such. 36:20 Oh yeah, I absolutely despise how commonplace that is. The people working customer service and such are simply doing their job(s); it's not their responsibility nor does it fall on them to be blamed for something going haywire. My parents are especially bad about that kind of thing; where they get mad, yell, and swear at them for not already knowing what the issue is and accusing them of not knowing how to do their job(s) and so on. It usually dilutes to insults, calling them stupid or what have you. 39:05 I didn't see anything new regarding deepfakes/deepfaking, but I do remember watching a video some years ago that went over that exact problem BJ brought up with any kind of "evidence" or thing then being able to be fabricated which would lead to no one being able to know what to truly believe. It's a damn scary prospect for certain. 1:06:40 I've never seen IG poetry before so I can't really comment on it. I myself have made several posts in (relative) recency though that what I said could (maybe) somewhat be read in a poem form, but of course I wouldn't (and don't) consider it that. Aside from that though, from the sounds of it it seems like something that's just nuanced enough to where a definitive answer can't really be reached since it isn't broadly considered to be on either side of true poetry or fake poetry.
Thankfully, I'm still in remission. I can't be declared cancer-free until two more years have gone by; they like you to be five years out from the specific types of cancer I had. I'm five years out from the first but only three years out from the second. You don't have to apologize for anything. Most of the time, I try to mute for courtesy. The Cozy Games Showcase is one of the ones I want to see the most. I usually have a small list of "must buy" games after watching it. A lot of the ones from last year I wrote down haven't even come out yet! I hate it when people treat those in customer service like garbage. Honestly, it's one of the reasons restaurants and stores are having trouble finding enough help; they just have to keep smiling and apologizing when someone berates them for little pay. Who wouldn't want to have constant crap shoved their way for not even enough money to live on? It's a mystery. I should send you the article about Amazon and the deepfake for dead people's voices. The voice of someone is one of the first things you tend to lose about them after they die, so I understand wanting a way to bring it back. My brothers changed their number after my mom died, so I don't get to hear her voicemail message anymore. But... Maybe talking Instagram poetry would be an interesting stream. Not every bit of poetry put on Instagram is considered "Instagram poetry", though. I post poetry to Instagram, but no one could ever mistake it for what they see as an Atticus poem.
Damn, I can see why this game was on sale for $1 at most with those crashes, Lmao. But yeah I also think a game like this is better served as a pure one-off. I wouldn't mind seeing more Good Pizza Great Pizza though just for the record. 15:10 I forget if you've ever stated it but why is it that you don't play with sound? 15:45 Yeah that would've been nice if there was some dynamicism between the characters, but I guess how barebones the game is is a major contributing factor for why it is/was so cheap. 20:15 Well, my high school was connected in a rectangular way like that actually. So you could indeed just run around the hallways in a loop (like in this) theoretically forever if you kept turning the correct way in the hallways. 22:10 I'm pretty sure that's mainly rooted in the mind being fearful of the unknown. Since if it was a serial killer it'd be scary but you're aware of both the potential and limitations alike that they're capable of, whereas for anything that's even slightly more unfamiliar, there will always be that air of hesitancy when approaching and/or dealing with it. 23:00 I think that might be tied to awareness. With fast zombies they're much more noticable and you know what they're going to do, compared to slow ones where their movement is much more inconspicuous and therefore harder to read. 25:50 I interpreted it as their usage of "distinguished" just meaning different or easily stood out/recognizable. 31:00 Sorry but I can't help but find that complaint extremely ironic since Symphonia incorporates that exact thing into it's story too, multiple times I think. Not of a zombie mind you, but the same premise. 51:30 I'd like to hear about the Moui story, yeah. Whether it's in a video or on stream, either or. 54:00 I wouldn't mind seeing more videos like this, but also think this would work better and should be reserved for when you're away from streams for a while. A backup plan for content of sorts, if that makes sense.
I think I will play more Good Pizza, Great Pizza eventually. I'm considering the new Mario soccer game for next week's video because we're renting it currently. I just worry about my commentary during a chill game (like the pizza game) without anyone to bounce conversation off of... I'd be more boring than usual. When I was little, my mom never wanted us to play with the sound on games because we often played in the living room. Sound was for watching movies and television shows only. I've kind of gotten used to that. There are pluses and minuses to it, of course. I can't always hear when something is sneaking up on me in a horror game, but I also don't get jump scared as easily... If the hallways in the zombie-infested high school are one gigantic rectangle, how come we aren't running into more zombies as we circle around? The ones I shoot behind me are instantly replaced, but nothing shows up ahead of me. I think you're right about the unknown or supernatural being more scary for me. Even serial killers have to follow the laws of physics. Fast zombies are also more likely to kill you faster, and I don't want to suffer before I die (hopefully when I'm extremely old), so slow zombies seem the worse option. The way the student was going on about how the professor was so amazing, I was thinking she might "distinguished" in another way. You're right again, I think. It's the frequency as a zombie trope that gets me. When people keep their zombified loved ones tucked away to feed them in approximately 4 out of 5 movies I see, I tend to give the writers less leniency. I was hoping to do a video a week so that my UA-cam subscribers can get more value than just me having a repository of my Twitch channel. I want to make it worth it for people to follow me.
@@TolucaTurtle Makes sense, if you're only renting Mario Strikers too then yeah it'd probably be better to make content on it before the opportunity slips away. Oh right, now that you mention it I do remember you saying something like that before. I really don't see a fundamental difference between TV, movies and games though; they're all forms of entertainment. The main issue I have with something like that is how intrinsically linked the sound and music to games are. If it goes unheard then that's a major component missing from the overall experience, especially when it's something like Nintendo games or RPG's with how rich theirs tend to be (or even worse, rhythm based games). My bad, I was more specifically talking about the concept of just "a building" being able to have that loop since that was what it sounded like was being asked in the video. In the game, yeah it doesn't make sense, but I overlook that kind of detail in this instance because it's very much just part of the "video gamey" design of Corridor Z. AKA not that much thought was put into it. It's an endless arcade-like endurance game with not even an ending after all, and if the type of game it was wasn't enough, it was also a game that was on sale for at most $1. I'm pretty sure if the dev(s) actually cared about that kind of fine-crafting then, for starters they would at the bare minimum fix the intro so it at least doesn't crash anymore. That's the whole tradeoff for slow zombies, that slowness implying a (much) greater chance at survival since their chance(s) to be near you (and thus risk of death) would be at a much lower percentage. Not to mention that added time giving much more leeway to recover/regain breath/stamina. It's for those reasons that I myself would much prefer slow zombies over fast. In my mind when I saw the word "distinguished", I just immediately thought it was a different usage of "distinguishable" based on the context of what she said right beforehand. Basically I thought "Oh, so since she's talking about his descriptions that set him apart from the others it must be meant in 'this' way. Makes sense." Simply put, the descriptors layed down a patch which shifted my mind into being like "he's different, here's how" preemptively. Ah, I think I see. When it's repeated that much in (presumably) either the exact same or an extremely similar formula (with I'm also guessing equal importance/relevancy) then it is bound to wear thin quickly, yeah. You know me though, I barely watch movies in general to begin with, let alone zombie/horror movies. One that I did see a few years ago (don't remember the name) did have that trope though, so that probably speaks volumes for how widespread it is. That makes sense too, it would indeed give more reason to subscribe/follow on both platforms respectively. Again, if you want my vote then I'm all for it. I would say to be careful not to burn yourself out of creating content (as I don't know how susceptible you are or would be to something like that), but I trust you have a plan to help prevent that kind of thing. You were planning for vids to go up on off-stream days I'm guessing?
