I never buy gold bars. Too high premiums for that small. I submittes my pre-33 to NGC. Turnaround said 5 days bit its been double that. I got other coins that are gonna take longer. I believe the gold coin fee was $35 and then they charge $10 handling.

That's a good point- perhaps the service works you buy your food from would recognize gold? For that experiment tacos are too cheap- steak dinner is more like it! Nice gold frac pick up for sure. I too enjoy the close up view from the phone, works out well DA

I’d like to get a gold Geiger bar

National bars are vintage but not crazy rare! The rare ones I’d say come from the US. The Geiger is a premium bar and as you’ve noticed has a different frosting or finish! Super nice scores in my mind!!

Got your package today. Got to try to open it tonight or tomorrow, lol. National refiners were out of Canada in the 70s, 80's. Their relativly common as far as vintage goes.

Those National Bars are great! There are several varieties including a USA National bar. Not a lot of info on those as far as rarity. In regard to your Geiger's- the frosted looking one says Geiger original "premium" on the COA and the plain one just says Geiger original. I think you may be looking to stack all premiums?

I just did my shift shaft seal and primary. Shifter seal was easy. That main was tougher using DYI garage tools. I used a 3” wide putty knife to finally drive that seal in. However, I couldn’t get it flush with the aluminum machined surface no matter what I tried it remained bout 1/32” high. Oh well hopefully it won’t pop out. But yessir- “in the twinkling of an eye we shall be changed” into perfection- unlike that main seal which was changed, but not to perfection.

50g - 100g is a killer size. Scotty makes outstanding stacker rounds for sure, the 2oz 100g and 5oz are awesome sizes. I have a tube of the 2oz and a couple 5oz but still hunting 100g. He does look happy.

Wow, I feel for you. Here in Oregon my electricity provider is a Coop. We are very, very fortunate. We have hydro, like .15 per KWH after a base charge. I’m on a year around plan of about $150 per month for an all electric home. Granted, we don’t warm up like CA does, but we run the window AC 18 hr a day. I recall back in the day living in Reedley every day in June was over a 100 degrees. Fruit widened too fast out in the orchard. It’s a DRY Heat!😆

I was also very disappointed in the Accupoint. I bought this to hunt hogs and axis deer in low light or at night. The reticle only works with daylight coming in. I was very upset. It's false advertising. However, I am happy with the scope itself, I think the glass has a little better clarity than Leupold. What I did to counter this problem was to buy mini glow sticks on amazon. I activate it and then put it over the fiber optic cover, then wrap it with a little black athletic tape and presto it works at night. But I shouldn't have to do this.

Always fun to catch a rocket! We get a few over in my neck of the woods. The tails at night are killer.
