Smash Remix - First Impressions
In this video I play Smash Remix for the very first time. What's Smash Remix? Well it's and absolutely incredible mod package for the original Super Smash Bros for the N64. One thing that the original was always lacking was more content, and thanks to a very strong community effort the game is now getting content that we could only ever have dreamed of! Join me for a nice laid back experience as I try out a handful of the new characters and stages.
Did you know that Super Smash Bros. was initially called “Pepsiman” during its development? This quirky name came about because the early prototype featured simple polygonal figures that resembled the Japanese Pepsi mascot. The game, released in 1999, quickly became a beloved classic, introducing players to a new kind of fighting game where the goal was to knock opponents off the stage rather than deplete their health bars.
Smash Remix takes this iconic game to the next level by adding over twenty new characters and numerous new stages, all while preserving the core mechanics of the original. The romhack includes characters from later Smash games, such as Dr. Mario and Young Link, as well as unique additions like Mad Piano and Ebisumaru. The original twelve characters remain unchanged, allowing for exciting matchups between classic and new fighters.

Not a fan of putting existing characters in with the same movesets. The only appeal is seeing them low poly. The new additions are interesting. But putting in whats already been done feels lazy
Even though Brian has the worst levels in the game, He has the least amount. Compared to Peter and Stewie you will be playing as him the least amount of times assuming you do a deathless run where you have to beat the entire game in 1 session without getting a game over.

Fun fact Dan Povenmire, the guy who created Phineas & Ferb, worked on the earlier seasons of Family guy. I surmise that when he left is when Family guy's quality went down the toilet!
The episodes he worked on (specifically the “Road to ____” episodes) are definitely the best of the show, but it was really when Seth MacFarlane stopped writing episodes that it fell off
