Samut Prakan Markets
Переглядів 80Рік тому
Today I walk through Markets in Samut Prakan. Is this one large market or many smaller markets? I really don't know. I would walk through a building, come out the other side, cross a street and enter another building. Mostly in these markets are fresh seafood, meats, veggies and some fruits. There are a few clothes and other items to be found.
Samut Prakan Learning Tower

On this day I visited the Samut Prakan Learning Park and Tower that opened last August, 2022. From the planning to opening was 13 years. It's located about 550 meters from the Pak Nam BTS. I visited in late September 2022, at that time entrance fee was free. As I understand currently it is 60 baht for adults and 40 baht for children now. It is open Tuesday thru Sunday 10 am to 5 pm, closed on M...

What time is it because I'm very surprised that you're walking alone, there aren't any people at this time???
if memory serves me correctly this was between 5 and 6 am. yep, almost like i was there by myself. no wonder people feel so safe there.
@@TutoneEarthling THANK
@@elbaronsass you're more than welcome.
Last time I stayed at the hotel, there was a microwave in the room.
Actually, I never thought about it. I've had microwaves in rooms before but have never used them. I'm not a coffee drinker so I don't always notice the kettle either.
Thanks for the information. You are the only one that showed the airside of Haneda Airport thou it was pandemic time. How is it now at Haneda and Narita? I saw vlog talking about passengers with long layover sleeping on benches and on the floor on the airside. That is no problem unless airport police forbids it. Is the comfort room open 24 hours?
Glad you liked the video, thank you. As for current time at both Haneda and Narita I can't say. I believe they have lifted all the covid restrictions so they should be returning back to more normal. First you should know, Narita is NOT a 24 hour airport while Haneda is open 24 hours a day. On my trip in Sept 2022 I would NOT have been able to stay at Narita overnight. Even if I had met the covid restrictions at the time had I left the Haneda Airport i would have been required to do a 14 day quarantine, that wasn't an option for me. Since Haneda was pretty much deserted while I was there finding a bench to sleep on was no problem at all. The Airport Police will not bother you. I have heard they might asked to see your onward ticket but honestly, I don't remember even seeing them while I was there. Only the higher end Lounges were open during my layover but they closed during the night. I had planned to use one of the Lounges for a few hours, and a shower, but they closed indefinitely in the morning before I arrived. My understand now is everything is returning back to normal. I will be going thru Haneda and Narita in November 2023 so I can tell you more about it after that.
How long is the walk from BTS nana
only a few minutes. the hotels have golf carts that run up and down soi 8. you can catch a free ride on your hotel cart but i think a 20 baht tip is expected.
@@TutoneEarthling I agree. I noticed the tuk tuk driver can be a dick with a crappy attitude.
Did the restaurants in terminal 3 open 24/7?
When i was there restaurants and gift shops were all closed by 9 pm, reopened at 8 am. A lot of things have changed since last September tho. I will be there again in November but I am expecting things to be back to much more normal by then.
Near po b yn sa bts station
It's just a 2 minute walk from Chong Nongsi BTS.
why couldn't you leave the airport?'
Because, at the time i was there, Covid rules said i had to have 3 jabs and still had to do 2 week quarantine to enter Japan. To leave the airport just for a hotel room for the night is considered entering Japan. I didn't have 3 jabs and i wasn't gonna do a 2 week quarantine. However now, 6 months later, much has changed since then.
is beautiful temple
Hi thanks for the video btw is there hotel or capsule hotel inside the airport ( without go though the immigration?) I will layover for 15hours 😂
I can not speak for the current time. When I passed thru in mid Sept the hotel at the airport were closed under their covid rules. Going to an outside hotel was not an option for me. I'm sure you can send an email to the hotels at the airport to get answers. Have safe travels.
I am in the same boat. I have a 17 hours layover in Haneda airport on my to India in coming February. I was planning to see Tokyo for a bit and sleeping in a capsule pod for few hours. But need 2 weeks quarantine totally ruins my plan. All the plans to eat sushi at a popular spot and checking out Tokyo night before exploring Japanese biggest fish market all down the drain. I will post here again if I find out about these restrictions. Safe travels all
@@Tara-Oziray I can't answer about what will be open/closed in February 2023 as things are changing constantly. For instance, i did my homework for my time in Sept 2022, I had the lounges picked out i was going to use. I arrived late afternoon but the lounges were closed that same morning. I was already in transit so nothing i could do about it or no way i would have known until I arrived. Virus numbers are increasing again so be prepared. Bring snacks with you, make sure you have some sort of water bottle for drinking. can get cold water from drinking fountains right outside of most all restrooms that i saw. I would plan on hotels not being available to you. by staying airside in transit, you really don't "leave the airport or enter Japan". so no quarantine mandated while you are in transit. but remember, that can change on a dime at any time. prepare for the worst and keep your fingers crossed. go to one end or the other for sleeping purposes, people tend to roam around in the middle section. while i was there the end with the highest gate numbers had the section to the right barracked with a guard to make sure people didn't enter it. assuming you are female you might feel safer in that area. happy travels and be safe. hope i helped in some way for you.
@Tutone Earthling thank you for the info. I really hope I can go outside of Airport. Yes the rise in covid cases can hamper my plan. Will update my experiences here after my travel.
Actually the immigration officer is nice and helpful at the end they gave me 3 days short visa ( but remember to fill out all form before flying ) note :please check again with your airlines . Lounge in Haneda airport is amazing ❤️❤️❤️
You can always tell who are the brainwashed cowards. 😷 INDOCRINATED & no common sense
what are you talking about?

@@slyman6666 how am i brainwashed and indocrinated?
@@TutoneEarthling I never said you were!!
@@slyman6666 so what is the purpose of your original comment? saying you can tell who is brainwashed, indoctrinated, no common sense, then reply "like me'. now you don't mean me? really, i'm trying to figure out what your whole point is.
Hello, thanks for your video. Did you need covid test when you transited in Haneda?
When I boarded the first flight to Ohare Airport in Chicago I had to show vaccination or negative test before i could board first flight. After that, i was never asked to show papers again. On return flight from Bkk to Usa i was never asked to show papers. But keep in mind, that was now 3 months ago. The rules in Sept. can be different than the rules today. I suggest calling your airlines to ask if vaccine and/or negative test is still a requirement.
is great airport
what you do like thai food?
yes, i like thai food. my favorite is pad krapow.
Hey, I have overnight layover at Haneda airport. Did You need any transit visa for Japan during your connecting flight?
when i was there in mid Sept. i did not need transit visa as I never technically left the airport. I stayed airside the entire time. Had I left the airport, say for hotel room, I would have been required a 2 week quarantine I believe at that time. I'm not sure of current rules now but I would investigate before traveling. at least to know what you are getting into.
I am going to travel in July and on my return trip, I would be staying over in HND for 18-19 hrs. I feel like I don’t want to spend the money to go out and stay in a hotel for a night but definitely would love to see Japan for the first time. Will do some research s they have changed their covid rules.
@@IAmThePrepper if memory serves me correct, for around 10 bucks you can catch a bus to Shibuya from Haneda Airport. I know there are trains that run also but I haven't tried that before. You have plenty of time to check out the options.
Hi are we allowed to stay in the airport if your flight is on the next day?
In Sept 2022, yes, we were allowed to stay in Haneda Airport for a flight the next day. Not true at Narita Airport as it closed at night. There were many of us who spent the night there when i did.
Good old lat krabang allways stay a couple of days and train into BKK from there
good place to stay for early morning flights.
I should also mention there is 24 hour Tesco Lotus a few steps away and a 7 11 about 5 minutes walk.
love the city lights at night, nice video
yep, always look forward to landing. it's the leaving that is hard to do.
Can you buy your tickets in person at the hotel? or do they have be made Inadvance?
sorry for late reply. i bought my ticket at the bus.
@@TutoneEarthlingHi! Did they have ticket counter/vending machine? Or you paid inside the bus?
@aceromano9627 at the time I bought the ticjet at the bus. There wasn't a vending machine at the time.
