with no lift they rub on big bumps a little. I put a 3 in lift and haven't rubbed yet. I go to 5a and hope a lot

I put it on myself with 3" drain pvc and a rubber coupler. very easy. bought a new hood ebay for $55 and cut a hole in it for the tube. one clamp and 3 zip ties and it's off.
