5+ years of income from PAINTING, PHOTOGRAPHY, AND WRITING
Just one girl's income from her artistic work...not that it will be the same for everyone. I did work more for other people before I started my own business. I made sure my bills were paid and did my creative work on the side as a hobby. We also don't have kids, so we don't need to make as much money.
I appreciate seeing how much others make through their art, so thought I'd share a little of my experience. Plus, I'll have this to look back on and compare it to the next 5 years.

For sketches I use either cheap paper, or sketchbook, but for painting it has to be "Arches" - the best paper you can try - it's totally different game, also Fabriano is a top notch.

It's really interesting to see the difference the paper makes, even with cheap paint. You can really see that the cheaper paper doesn't absorb the water properly, so the paint and water sit at the surface and dry in puddles, which makes the end result look blotchy. I can also tell by the end result that you had more control over the treeline shadows in the background of the most expensive paper. That's the thing with good paper isn't it...once you try it, you can never go back 😅

I use the small paintings that turn out as greeting cards.

Love them all! Okay, first of all, I laughed when you were talking about sending your cards out and said it would be mean to send somebody the tree one as if they are getting a dud. 😂😂 I have an idea for your tree that you tore off the Merry Christmas, because I like it too. Maybe just use each of those torn pieces on separate cards so that it doesn't look like you ripped up a card and tried to put it back together. So put the Christmas tree on one and then add more lettering at the bottom or top or whatever and then same with the Merry Christmas. Or they could each be centered on their own card and stand alone. Just some thoughts.😊❤🎄

Hello! First of all, Thank you for the amazing content. I Love it but I noticed that, If you use proper video keywords, channel tags, and visual design for thumbnails, you will definitely see increase in views, subscribers and easily receive monetization . If you want, I can help you to fulfill your monetization requirements. Please let me know what you think?
