Thanks for sharing this. Earlier today I was feeling anxiety and stress due to a work situation. And this was in my YT feed. Thanks Holy Spirit❤. This message encouraged me and challenged me. In the hard things I face, do I go to God or do I try to figure it out on my own? Why go to God? Because she knows things I don't. I especially like that part where she said that asking for faith is a step of faith. When anxiety rages, I don't often see clearly. And yet what Paul is saying is, Go to God. This one blessed me.😊

686 Days. This is how long so many of us Willow ex-pats have been longing for this service. 686 days since that dreaded night we got the elders' email blaming the Tribune for false accusations and Bill's red-faced video contained within, with him spitting out the words, "I am SO ANGRY right now!!" 686 days since many of us lost our faith completely... We've waited in tears, anxiousness, the awful tension of wishing and hoping anyone would have listened to us instead of threatening us with elder abuse and security guards. Hoping against hope that the "Christians" I'd admired and sat with and served with weren't a lost cause. I'm so glad to see that at least your campus FINALLY understands, finally realized it's not just the leadership... it's the CONGREGANTS that need to repent, to weep, to apologize personally to the victims, to learn about abuse dynamics. The church is its people, not its leaders. The people need to change. Thank you. Truly. A tiny piece of my heart just healed.
