There were a lot of "counters" to Polaris before. None of them ever succeeded in keeping her away from the meta. I doubt this one will. Polaris counters: - Sabertooth (counter to Polaris + 4* Grocket) - Venom (counter to Polaris + BRB) - 4* Thanos - Kitty Pride - Morbius - Mantis - Mr. Negative - Chasm (not exactly a Polaris counter but counters both BRB and 4* Grocket) Etc etc etc And of course the very characters featured here, both 3* Captain Marvels and Moondragon. 3* Carol Danvers was one of the oldest BRB counters there was. Another one is War Machine. Venom + War Machine combo was also very known and old. Etc. What's good about 3* Carol now is that she can be ascended so she can become relevant again in the upper tiers and not get outclassed like how all 3* characters were before.

Stunlocking them also works. Not many meta comps counter that strategy

What I'm surprised by is that they would create a locked tiles meta. I didn't think locked tiles was a strategy anyone cared for before Luna showed up. Other than using Ozzie Spidey to locate Echo's trap tiles I didn't much try to do anything with locked tiles, I much prefer cascades to limiting matches even more than the game naturally does.

How do you have so many characters ascended to 5*?

What build did you go with by chance?

Here's an idea: 5* hawkeye with Lucky, Coulson with refreshment cart and killgrave. Your goal is to get coulson's strike tiles with the yellow ability and then spam Killgrave's abilities and Hawkeye's red ability, they all convert tiles to purple and every match multiplies the strike tiles exponentially. It goes from small damage to 600k damage very VERY fast, Hawkeye replenishes all his health by matching countdowns. Flaw: team damage pro: very fast

He is a great battery

Coulson, 5* Hawkeye and 5* Strange makes a stunlocking combo with a very reliable AP economy. Once you get 18 blues, it's all over for them.

Nice to see another convert to the church of Northstar. I have been wondering where the love for this character is since he does practically the same thing Iron Man 3* does plus helps boost the effectiveness of invisible characters.

Agatha + Magneto (white) + DeathStroke. With Godlike support. I get continous match turn after firing Magneto's blue tile creation skill

Honestly, pair Namor (Phoenix) with Magento 5* and either Agatha, Shang-chi, MThor. Any good support that destroys tiles on board and you are good to go.

I like the change, but I've been yet to test him out. How do you play Havoc; I like him as a 5/3/5 unless specifically going after invisible targets. His single damage has always been great in my opinion, but I had to use half-thor to justify using him.

@KP I like your videos but something that has always been needed was better sound quality. your voice comes through so quiet, so it must be that a different micorphone could help. I always have to turn my volume up super high just to hear what you say. Appreciate the efforts you make in showcasing MPQ content! I think if the voice quality aspect of the videos is improved it'll make this channel eve better.

The music is kinda loud. But that's an interesting strat having him at 3/5/5 I think everyone wants to hit as hard as possible with his red. I have to reconsider my playstyle with him. Something interesting I noticed, his burst health still let his passive damage get triggered on Beta Ray Bill. Which is not the case for say Thor, burst health disables his passive destruction of tiles.

I think best build is 535. The burst heals to the enemy team from purple stay the same but you're mitigating more of it with black at 5 and then dealing greater damage with his black. What you think?

yo do you know bout the broken combo of purple guy or moondragon with Immortal Hulk? (not she Hulk) it's impossible to beat that combo! The damage keeps passing until the enemy team is completely downed. (To beat it you need to use Kang's blue ability to send away both of them, they ARE REALLY BROKEN)

try the team : dark veil, agatha 5* and doop ascended with macth damage powers. agatha with her blue, feed darkveil yellow, this is a fast winfinity.

Yeah you can make a Polaris+BRB winfinite with any character with a green or blue power that can destroy any kind of tiles (not just basic ones). Some noteworthy mentions: 1* Juggernaut - the quickest way to get the ball rolling. His green power only needs 6 green AP at maximum level. Also, ever since his rework, he has a black power that destroys all assault and protect tiles on the board, so that's useful as well. 1*, 2* and 3* versions of Storm - not particularly useful because their green takes 14 AP but they can gather additional AP from any tiles destroyed, not just the protects with BRB's interaction. 4* Thanos - his green is also slow to get going, but does a ton of damage and his blue passive helps to clear enemy ASP tiles and convert them into basic green ones so that's nice for PVP as well 4* Wiccan - his green helps with clearing ALL enemy tiles, not just ASP ones. I find him very useful against countdown/repeater tile spam. 4* Juggernaut - needs his blue at max level for efficiency. I'm not a big fan of him, but he can work. 4* Wolverine - one of the best board shakers in the whole game. Can use green, black AND yellow to get the ball rolling. Green is very cheap, black does HUGE damage. Yellow is not to be prefered, but can also work in a pinch to help. 4* Thing - pretty useful, he can protect Polaris very well from big enemy attacks while creating more protect tiles with his yellow passive, also has a red stun if you need it 5* Kamala - can create a big bunch of protect tiles with her yellow, gains AP passively from enemy ability usage, her green also has lots of potential for huge damage

Hello..new player here. Can you explain why when I bought the all 2 star char pack there are multiples of the same character but with the different skill colors activated? Am i ok to fuse them to skill up?
