Sabr ( grounding oneself in connection) and istiqama( persistence ) making it into a habit.
Catching ourselves in the moment is the key , once we realize we are not present in the moment we say istaghfar and then use it to come out of heedlessly doing anything, connect it back to the Source , Allah the Doer, the Provider……
this is soo beautifull jazakallah
MaashaAllah, worth listening to several times❤
re-LIE-gions ... A stepping stone at best, a stumbling stone for most, and a millstone hoding the majority back from growing in spirit.
thank you. so important so true
I believe in Law. I believe, that entire Creation is embodiment of God's Law. Believing in Law means for me that there is no exception for anybody in the Creation. Even Human is created entirely according to the Laws applied to the entire Creation
It is so mind moving, thought inspiring!
"You can not solve a problem with the mind that created the problem. You have to change your paradigm, your perception."
20:32:35 From Sarah to Everyone: فَأَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّینِ حَنِیفࣰاۚ فِطۡرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِی فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَیۡهَاۚ Rum (30):30 AND SO, set thy face steadfastly towards the [one ever-true] faith, turning away from all that is false, in accordance with the natural disposition which God has instilled into man: [for,] not to allow any change to corrupt what God has thus 20:38:30 From Naimah to Everyone: What is the difference between perceptible existence and external existence? 20:39:51 From Sarah to Everyone: Laws refer to the order in creation. 20:40:50 From Sarah to Everyone: Ex/ law of egg hatching, law of embryo development, 20:41:59 From Sarah to Everyone: Ahhhhhh LAW represents “Amr” - Divine Command, which is why it resembles the spirit, “The Spirit is from the Command of my Sustainer” 20:50:52 From Mine to Everyone: Free will= affect of ruh on gene expression. Genes are not on all the time they may be off but somehow at some point of our lives these genes may be turned on sometimes the result may be cancer but sometimes the result may be for our benefit. What do you think? 21:12:30 From Aliaa to Everyone: So snow falling Is actually endless angels Each assigned to one snowflake in observance of the Divine Command 21:12:38 From mohsen to Everyone: I don’t think that science aim to refute Allah's existence; rather, it aims to explain things in light of what we observe. So, we ought to distinguish between the “falsifiable” science and “non-falsifiable” dogma. 21:20:35 From tomomi to Everyone: I think I am getting the reason why spirit and the laws of our surrounding world is compared: Our spirits has potential to resonate to the Divine Order. 21:23:29 From Zeba to Everyone: Meeting of our rooh and angels
Comments: 20:20:44 From sarah to Everyone: “Clever” angels working on this tiny organism. Interesting that there are so many different activities happening at once, each activity having an appointed angel. 40,000 mouths! 20:21:00 From Tasniya to Everyone: It goes back to trust. Armies of angels are not at my command but at the command of the One who knows what I need 20:21:20 From Tasniya to Everyone: If the crowd did not disperse, that’s also his angels making it not happen 20:22:08 From Tasniya to Everyone: So the angels are not meant to just serve my whims and desires but when my will lines up to His will and we witness that, it’s really special. And it’s equally special when it doesn’t happen 20:22:44 From sarah to Everyone: ALLAHU AKBAR, 80 billion neurons all orderly and each one obeying The Orderer 20:23:12 From sarah to Everyone: “We can have special moments AND every instance is special” 20:23:33 From Tasniya to Everyone: I think in the beginning we look for instances or special moments to really anchor ourselves and then as we trust we can also say that the waiting for something to happen is also special. It’s preparing me 20:24:16 From sarah to Everyone: “We are called to reflect on “Natural phenomena” repeatedly mentioned in the Qur’an which looks to the unseen, the angelic world, the malakut. “ - Dr Yamina 20:30:05 From Seyma Inan to Everyone: The last points you guys made are also becoming a mirror to comprehend slowly how we make senses when we see calamities for instance.. 21:13:54 From Isra to Everyone: To define ourselves as: mirror bearing admirer /contemplating announcer/ needy thankful
Today we were serving homeless and my prayer was as I am moved same way Allah will move and provide and take care people in Gaza
Istighfar and More conviction while making dua !
When we see sunrise or sunset our response is not wow what a beautiful sunrise or sunset to What a beautiful Rabb he is !
In 1958 in China they had shortage of grain so they killed all birds thinking they are eating all grains , subhan Allah it lead to infestation by large numbers of insects as the birds we’re keeping them in control so the the insects destroyed the remaining crops
And interacting with so called “inanimate” world is another level of opening and interaction for us !
SubhanAllah and astaghfirullah ,even we attribute so much to our physical being , And have so much biases based on that
"Just like we are not flesh and bones, the creation is not just physical matter"
MashAllah!!! Very touching reflection. I These verses sound like teaching us that when we are in the state of patient (dedicating ourselves to pause and to be ready to understand/welcoming meaning) angels are / will be sent to our ways to go through hardships
Someone said the bee doesn’t have consciousness. I beg to differ, it does! It’s an animate creation which has the ability to communicate and live in a bee community just like we live in communities !!! The mountain has the ability to respond to Allah SWA when He says in the Quran that the mountains did not want the responsibility: 33:72 “Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.” They have consciousness!!! It may not be the same consciousness as ours. Everything has consciousness as everything is made to worship Allah SWA. They may not have free will to not choose to worship Allah SWA like we do.
The intermediate realm is called the barzak. This is the time in the grave until we are resurrected.
Hadith on Shuhada: Souls of martyrs alive in green birds of Paradise By Abu Amina Elias / June 2, 2019 / Birds الطيور, Death الموت, Fruits الثمرات, Hereafter الآخرة, Life الحياة, Martyrs الشهداء, Paradise الجنة, Reward الأجر, Trees الأشجار, Virtues الفضائل Ka’b ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the souls of martyrs are in green birds, hanging from the fruits of Paradise, or the trees of Paradise.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 1641 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Tirmidhi
The trophy goes to you guys. Thank you all for for initiating such a wonderful/educational talks. If I may humbly suggest that complexity of what’s being said, requires a very detailed entry into such a subject. In my opinion, it is crucial to define some of the wording that has been used, like perfection in relation to creation, let us remember everything is in relative terms what is perfect or who is perfect what do we consider to be perfect where does angels fall in this category or humans and spirits? Define perfection define Angels define spirit…❤🎉 And let us remember. We have to have reasons to believe what we believe. Why do we believe their existence and so-called perfection? Whatever that may be
This week we started our study of the 29th Word on the immortality of man’s spirit, angels, and resurrection. Some of the questions we are reflecting on as we prepare for the next session are: - What does believing in angels mean for me in my everyday life? - How can I live more from my authentic self/ruh so that I can become aware of the angelic aspect of creation? Let’s remember that the more we engage with the text and the more questions we have, the more answers it’ll give us. We have to reflect so that so the text can speak to us - please come prepared with any questions you might have on the reading. Subscribe to Receiving Nur newsletter to receive details on the live session, www.receivingnur.org
What a precious lesson, mashaAllah ❤ I am inspired to experience and share this message as much as I can insh, Who is inspiring me:)? Al-Insan 76:9 إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا
I am very relaxed by this thank you❤
Jazak Allah Khair for sharing your thoughts. Connecting the two talks, I see our perception as a rock. When we submit to the will of Allah then the rock splits asunder and we can start experiencing the manifestation of the names of Allah (SWT). A possible response to question about at what point perception changes could be the hadith cited by the second speaker.
Co-reading means reading with other people. But the slides imply that co-reading is reading two different things (Quranic text and one's surroundings) in sequence. This needs to be corrected.
Thank you very much for the correction💛 We should think of an alternative for co-reading🤔
Death is Destroyer of happiness-If the happiness was taking us away from our Rabb , but if we are using it to connect to our Rabb , than the death is the gateway to unending happiness
Alhukm is only with Allah, he just needs to say kun fayakoon
Rain doesn’t know when and where and how to fall and benefit or destroy, it has no consciousness or control
تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِهِ إِلَّا أَسْمَاءً سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُم مَّا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ ۚ إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ ۚ أَمَرَ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴾ [ يوسف: ٤٠ You do not worship besides Him but only names which you have named (forged), you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority. The command (or the judgement) is for none but Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him (i.e. His Monotheism), that is the (true) straight religion, but most men know not. The phenomenon and the reason / causes( asbab ) that we have been taught in secular education are the names we have given to all the Awaamir (orders or doings of Allah )
Thank you! great video
مَا تَعۡبُدُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِهٖۤ اِلَّاۤ اَسۡمَآءً سَمَّيۡتُمُوۡهَاۤ اَنۡـتُمۡ وَ اٰبَآؤُكُمۡ مَّاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ بِهَا مِنۡ سُلۡطٰنٍؕ اِنِ الۡحُكۡمُ اِلَّا لِلّٰهِؕ اَمَرَ اَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوۡۤا اِلَّاۤ اِيَّاهُؕ ذٰلِكَ الدِّيۡنُ الۡقَيِّمُ وَلٰـكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿12:40﴾ (12:40) Those whom you serve beside Him are merely idle names that you and your fathers have fabricated, without Allah sending down any sanction for them. All authority to govern rests only with Allah. He has commanded that you serve none but Him. This is the Right Way of life, though most people are altogether unaware. The phenomenon and the reason / causes ( asbab) that we have been taught in secular education, are the names we have given to Al Awaamir ( orders or doings of our Rabb) .As Rain doesn’t know when, where and how to rain ,and when to be beneficial when to be destructive,it has no consciousness.Alhukm is only with Allah ,Rain is bound to his kun.
Brilliant thank you so much. I now can see the difference between beautiful and how it’s made beautifully, which is a fact.🎉
yoooooo tihs I have a feeling that is linked to a need to fulfill is ground breaking for me!! Thank you!
Thank you for these lectures <3. Been reading about trauma for a few years now and I find it a phenomenal topic! Please continue to education others about the effects and coping mechanisms of trauma.

"Jihad is striving to remain in the path of ease, in a state of conscious surrender to the will of God."💖
Awesome video! Many thanks! (I have to be frank and say that although they may serve important purposes, I personally cannot stand houseflies because they are so pesky, dirty and carry diseases, which actually helps me try to be a cleaner person.)
Mashallah
ماشاء اللہ بہت خوب
Masha Allah!
Notes from Class by Enabah: Oh People (plural You) is linked to Adam so that we make the connection of Adam representing all mankind. Quran 15: 28-29 refers to creation of " a mortal human being" thus Adam = every human being. "Khulafa"=vicegerents is plural. Children of Adam are warned with same warning as that given to Adam. Hence Adam respresents all humanity. The principle mentioned in the first point: angels prostrating to Adam represents subjugation of most things in the universe to all of us: 1. most of physical beings and the connected spiritual aspect of physical beings (that looks to meaning and Beautiful Names) 2. senses that are given to us. T here are also evils pertaining to Iblis that have the potential to dwarf our growth and attack our deeper learning of His Names. It is critical to understand that satan is a part of our lives so that we can be safe. Doubts are not evil in themselves. Not taking them seriously , letting them fester, or following them blindly is to let satan take hold. Thoughts and feelings come to us, and ego has a tendency to wrongly identify with it.
Most important is “RabbunAllah “to reach that relationship and to know he has my back . That only comes with constant work , with every grief and concern and looking back , how I was being taken care in the past situations and situation didn’t last . It was a transient situation. It was purposely put with wisdom of the most Wise .
Thank you for this whole new perspective on Allah’s speech to Moses, pbuh. I will forever feel grateful for being reared and carefully watched by Allah in the palace of my own past and present experiences insha Allah. God bless!
Jazak Allah Kheir Sarah. Blessings to you and to everyone at Receiving Nur.
Thank you for this heart to heart session
