VIDEO JOURNAL OF A YOUNG QUADRUPLE THREAT'S PROGRESS IN SINGING, DANCING, ACTING, AND PLAYING SEVERAL INSTRUMENTS. Iggy Jo started this channel during the Covid pandemic to give her distant grandparents a way to follow her progress on piano and guitar. Since then, it has turned into a priceless and often hilarious video journal of a young quadruple threat's progress in singing, dancing, acting, and playing several instruments (piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo). She's no musical prodigy, but if you want to know what a little bit of almost daily music practice can do for a regular kid over the span of several years, check it out!
Me and the Sky from the musical Come From Away - Broadway Karaoke at Tallgrass Theatre Co.
Eleven-year-old Iggy Jo's emotional karaoke performance of "Me and the Sky" gives all the feels - wonder, awe, ambition, humor, indignation, love, triumph, tragedy, and more. "Me and the Sky" from the Broadway musical Come From Away tells the life story of Beverley Bass, the first female captain for American Airlines. On 9/11, her trans-Atlantic flight was diverted to Gander, Newfoundland, the little town that welcomed and cared for 7,000 stranded travelers while the United States' airspace was closed. Iggy Jo dreams of playing the part of Beverley Bass in a production of Come From Away when she's older!
