Record Player Generator with Technics 1210 Pulley Wheel
Переглядів 775 місяців тому
I experiment with converting a Technics 1210 turntable into a flywheel hand-crank DIY generator. I repurpose vinyl records to make pulley wheels that can spin a generator, with the ultimate goal of generating enough voltage to charge a power bank. The project was a first try at making a pulley belt out of polyester rope - and thinking about ways to make simple pulley wheels.

The Secret To 5D Chess - Elon Musk lost TED Talk Cheap Fake

started this years ago as a stream of thought writing piece then made it into a ted talk then shelved it because i couldn't get voice cloning to work. now it's all a bit easier to do that so I thought I'd revisit it and finish it. meant only as art. no real point is being made here. just a crude mashing together of vaguely connected ideas i know little about. peace x

nice vid; definitely update us if you get a harvest
Did you cover the beans with soil? Typically the same depth as the diameter of the bean. My concern with leaving the beans uncovered is that rodents and birds will discover the buffet.
It's a good question. I did just lightly but probably should have covered them a bit better as I think I defo lost some to rodents.
The Mistery-Beans are also Fava-Beans. or Ackerbohne in German.
oh wow. Thank you! Good to know
"van and Shrek became important" "saying love beans" Of course! Shrek is Love, Shrek is Life.
hahaha
Good luck
@@Roman00744 thanks!
Is just better to eat the sprouts?
@@dunkfordyce yeh, sprouts are meant to be super healthy, but the trade-off is you don't get more beans for the next season of growing
Vapes with solid aluminium cases tend to have larger capacity batteries, I pulled a 1000mah battery from one the other day, apparently some have 18650 batteries
Great video on the second one maybe add a temperature sensor to have it turned on and off
Connect 4 usb cables in series to get 20 volts because 5×4=20 and two cables can make 10 volts because 5×2=10 and 20 cables can make 100 volts why because 5×20=100
Hey i have a afc1212de fan also knownas the ug891, its a brushless 3a 12 v fan, would a standard voltage regulator work?
4:30 or just change resistor on the charger board to get desired current, 1k2 is for 1A, 2k is for 580mA and it goes up to 10k ~ 130mA according to datasheet.
😂 love the stealing edit for the bosch. Thanks for the tips! I buy old tech from a Sunday market, which where I'm from in india, is a place where ppl sell random things in a spread out pile that may or may not work (which are basically secondhand scraps~) which i then bring home if it catches my eye, and then type the model number into UA-cam and see a repair video and try to learn from it. Which is treasure hunting and educational and my source of joy of i find a good piece. Very into retro audio related things from these markets.
Thanks for the nice comment. Glad to hear you're also on the fix it tip!
So u have made a micro windturbine
Best powerfull fan, Dell Optiplex 780
What about doing a project transforming those vape batteries into a rechargeable battery and adapt it to a cheap RC Car with disposable batteries?Or to use them as a small solar cell battery to provide power to something?I would love to replicate those projects, since i don't have enough knowledge to do it.
Your videos really attract me! Then, I visit your channel and watch your videos. Your videos are very amazing and helpful. You are making videos. But, I noticed a few areas where I could help optimize your videos to reach a larger audience. Would you be open to discussing this further?
They're all the same type of cell - lithium polymer. They're just shaped differently. They're definitely all the same type though. Lithium ion cells have a hard metal case around them. 18650 cells are an example of lithium ion. All these cells with the flexible foil around them are lithium polymer.
why not wire in series for higher output ??
Thank you, that was exactly the video I was looking for. I really hope there will be a Part 2.
Part 2 👏 PART 2 👏 PART 2 👏 Pleeease? 🙏
My brand new soldering fume extractor is not pulling any fume at all. Should I just use an expensive loud industrial fan with metal bars on it?
Creative idea! Wondering if any custom PCBs/ 3DP/CNC'd parts may assisit for upcoming diy? We're open to sponsor! (PCBWay zoey)
Finally a straightforward, concise video. Thank you!
You can get TP4056 modules with built-in boost converter and very cheap, little, independent boost modules you can use in combination with a regular TP4056 module to get 5V from 1S lithium battery.
Have you tried connecting them in series instead of parallel for a portable phone charger?
thats what im saying these batteries have unlimited uses in parallel or series use adrino to monitor
Nice video
I’m thinking that u will find your initial set up sufficient to charge a phone…at least somewhat (depending on the capacity of the phone battery and the size of your salvaged batteries. But I love to take things apart and I’ve found that most small phone power banks (1 charge power banks) and most phones all have a battery in them that is between 3.4 and 3.8 volts (with varying mAh). But all usb ports are usually 5 volts. I’m not exactly sure why this is the case and apparently safe and the way it’s been done for years…but maybe it has something to do with the power V*A equaling a number that is within tolerance…or maybe the internal circuitry has some boost and buck features built in respective to input/output.
Thank you so much
❤💚💚💚💚💚power some water pumps !!!
I bc wanna see u struggle to get that out to inoculate grain , u got a video on that??
Very informative video sir, I would like to see part 2 .
Thank you so much for the video, I would love a part 2.
I can't wait till someone takes one to the airport and ends up on the news
danke..
Box fan flow hood helps!
i think you will find all of them are lipo cells very cool video
I love this! Thank you!
This is so freaking cool!!!
❤
I'm first!
that is so cool! nice one!
Instead of using the fan itself directly, just use the motor inside it. If you have 3D printer, you could print some gears in decreasing diameters, and make a structure, lets say a case to hold them connected to each other. The gear with the lowest diameter connects to the motor / engine, the gear with the highest diameter connects to the fan - propeller - a wind turbine - a water turbine. So even if, lets say, local winds are not powerful to make it up to 5v, by having gears in different shifts and diameters it will end up becoming 5v for the engine. If it works then I would suggest switching to metal gears instead of plastic.
Thanks for the comment. I like that idea a lot and I think you're right about using gears. I'm trying to do stuff without a 3d printer even though I'm very tempted to get one. For the moment I'm enjoying trying to use stuff I can find...so if I find some suitable gears I'll try this
Invelox Turbine: like this stuff, very interested into how you can spin the fan . some suggestions , an Invelox Turbine,
Thanks for the tip. I shall look into that. I'll post the vid later of me trying to spin it. Don't get your hopes up too much tho... I didn't get great results. It's all very much a work in progress
great video bro ❤
thank you. glad you liked
Pretty sure they all lipos ?
Interesting. Why do you say that? They don't seem to say anything on them to identify what kind of cells they are. I just read somewhere that the kind that look like cylinders are li-ion and the kind that look like little sacks are li-po. No idea if that's right tbh
@@alexstacey Some of them are lipos and some of them are lithium ion. Even some of the round ones are lipos.
Ah@@sawyermatheson7447
@alexstacey been using them for my rc hobby and seems to work on lipo charger same ways original batteries do on lipo setting
Thanks for this no-nonse informational video. Exactly what I needed.
Useful info thanks for the niche thing I was looking for!
Is there a reason for using 200ml and not 100ml?? BTW: I love this, thak you for the tek!
I was wondering if it was possible to warm up the agar without damaging the mycelium and just pour the inoculated bottle into your spawn... Do you guys know the temperature threshold that is bad for mycelium ?
No u cant itll for sure damage the mycelium
Thank you so much I seen a Asian man make a video about this technique and tried to find others trying it as well and came up dry. I then stumbled upon this video, makes me want to try this for sure. It’s a great use of spent glass bottles for sure.
