Assalamu alikum my people ✌🏼
Welcome to Inspiring Ikhwa!
Here’s why I’m here: Coming from a traditional, Muslim (South Asian) family, advice from an ‘older brotherly figure’ sometimes felt necessary.
I didn't have an older brother to turn to about my first car, to seek guidance about deen, to advise me when it came to finding a job, to show me how to deal with heated situations etc.
So this channel aims to bridge the gap and provide you with the advise that I never had Inshaa Allah.
May Allah allow me to keep firm with my intentions and put barakah in this project, Ameen.

My Journey to Islam | Samir Khattab | Inspiring Ikhwa Podcast (EP8)
In this revealing interview, we speak with Samir Khattab who served 16 years in a UK prison, where he found a renewed sense of faith and purpose. Through this deeply personal conversation, he shares how incarceration unexpectedly became a turning point, leading him to become more practicing in his faith.
Reflecting on his experiences, he provides insight into the shortcomings he witnessed within the prison and education systems, believing that both are in need of significant reform. While he isn’t actively involved in advocating for change, he offers thought-provoking perspectives on how these institutions could better serve individuals, encouraging rehabilitation over punishment.
This story is one of resilience, spirituality, and reflection on societal issues that impact many lives. Watch now to gain a new understanding of life on the inside and the potential for growth, even in the toughest circumstances. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more compelling content.

You can make the argument that we need schools to teach finance/tax etc. and I agree. But why do people always use mathematics as an example to ‘pointless’ things being taught. Learning algebra has helped me so much in my career that it would be impossible for me to be where I am without it. I’m a programmer. Run my own business for web development. Maths is a human super power. But yes, real life needs to be taught in school. But maths is also a crucial subject to learn for human innovation.
@@ChatGodOfficial You’re absolutely right that math, especially algebra, is essential for careers like programming and innovation. However, when people criticize the education system and use math as an example, they’re not dismissing its value entirely-they’re highlighting the disconnect between what’s taught and what feels immediately practical for everyone. While math is crucial for fields like yours, it’s less applicable for others, leading to frustration when life skills like managing finances or filing taxes aren’t taught alongside it. The real issue isn’t about removing math but creating a more balanced curriculum that prepares students for diverse career paths and practical adulthood.

Oh piss off
What a lot of BS. If you want to be a protector take martial arts instead. Also lets be honest all the muslim brothers around my way are always flexing, whether thats the car, the railings around the house or the over the top firework displays.
@@Daveyboyz1978 I hear you Dave but there’s people who follow the religion and there’s people who don’t follow it as strictly. So just because people show off their cars and do fireworks, it doesn’t mean that what we said was BS…
@InspiringIkhwa The idea that building your physique protects your family is BS though. Like I say, take martial arts if that's your aim... I do OK at the gym, it doesn't mean I can fight.
Ditch religion, its for the weak and brainwashed. Live free!! Free thinkers💯💯💯💯
What makes you “free”?
@@InspiringIkhwa i'm not brainwashed by religion. I can do whatever i want. I can choose to live a life with freewill, not under the shackles of religion. I can date who i want, go where i want, i dont have to believe in a man made books teachings. I can eat what i want, drink what i want, say what i want. If i dont agree with something i can say or not do it. I'm free to think for myself and free to decide how i want to live my short time here, without the fear of made up repercussions. You can be free to my friend, or can you??,... If you decided to leave the religion you are brainwashed into, what would be the repercussions?
@@mrc.p8423 Honestly thank you for your response. However, I must clarify that almost 90% of the things you mentioned are things we can also do with free will. For example, we can drink ANYTHING except alcoholic beverages. The impacts of the alcoholic drinks are shown in the modern science such as it leads to liver damage, brain damage, alcohol addiction, you can’t think straight etc… You see in islam, we are allowed everything unless they have been prohibited for us.
@@InspiringIkhwa prohibited?!! Thats not being free my friend. That word is the opposite of free. Who prohibited it for you?, which man said that you,.. a so called free man with free will, couldn't do something?
@@mrc.p8423 Prohibited by God, your creator. I’m assuming that you are a honest law abiding citizen. Even if you’re not, living in a country where law is applied, the citizens in that country is obliged to follow the law. The law also prohibits you from doing things. So living under a lawful state does not allow you to be a ‘free man’ if we are going ahead with your logic of being a so called “free man”
