LSPR 2024
This years LSPR wasn't without its issues, but we had a great crew and a great host for the event! Brian's place is an absolute gem and I appreciate all of the hospitality for me and the team! Whats better than some rally cars, guns, a few drinks and some great friends?

ANNOUNCEMENT!!! William Petrow Racing and Broken Motorsports have joined forces for the 2025 season and beyond! I have been working with UNOH in developing a relationship and a Rally program for the students and the school for the past year and a half. We launched a pilot program with our friends at Southern Ohio Forest Rally this past June and the students and rally were thrilled! We kept this...
LSPR prep
Переглядів 702 місяці тому
I talk briefly about our efforts and prep for the final round of the ARA rally championship and the last rally we will be attending for the year. The EVO has received a few upgrades in the name of safety as well as some typical maintenance items that needed addressing before going out for the long weekend.
Fiesta ST Switch Panel #1
Переглядів 782 місяці тому
Technical difficulties, a busy last few weeks with traveling to UNOH and LSPR, and just trying to get back to work, means I haven't posted in a bit again. This video shows the process I went through to create the "main" switch panel. This will house the main kill switch, "on/off" or ignition switch, horn button and a volt meter/usb charger combo. This is a complex part as you can see and even t...
Thrash Trash Pool Bash 1

End of August, instead of going out to Ojibwe, we decided to have a bunch of people over at the Mill. A nearly 1 mile course was laid out for the day and we had all kinds of machines out.
Z Motor Mount FAIL!!!
Переглядів 1304 місяці тому
I've been hearing a rattle under the car for awhile now and also noticed the motor wasn't sitting flat awhile back. Turns out the upper arm for the driver side motor mount was broken. I blame it on beating the car on the property, but then I really got to thinking about it, and its possible that the motor mount arm was broken from when I originally picked up the car at Copart. Either way, we di...
Making AN Lines
Переглядів 454 місяці тому
This Fiesta ST is getting all AN lines for plumbing due to the need for the pedals to be able to move forward and backward depending on who will be driving the car. We decided to do the whole car in AN. While we typically would do stainless steel hard line for brake and clutch, this car will be easier to replace anything in the future if need be. I finally feel like I can see the finish line wi...
Fiesta ST update

Sorry I missed out on posting Monday. Things this week have been crazy busy with lots of progress on things with the FiST over the past couple weeks! Here is a few updates on whats been going on and all the custom items that need to be made for this particular rally car.
Quick pedal jack repair!

Our "fast" pedal on the jack has been broken since around LSPR last year. It's been a long time coming and finally received the replacement spring. So gonna show you all how to do that real quick.
How Do We Grow Rally???
Переглядів 90911 місяців тому
Today I wanted to talk about a theory I have that could potentially affect the sport of rally in the North American markets of USA and Canada with a significant impact! While lengthy, I go over the topics of how I have come to my conclusions and how we can ALL help each other and the sport through our social media accounts that we are all on every day. SOFR! Final prep and Day 1
Переглядів 13011 місяців тому
Prep between Hyperfest and SOFR was almost a full time job with the amount of damage that had been done off the big jump! We finally got the EVO X ready to battle its first stages of 2023 and head out to Southern Ohio Forest Rally (SOFR) in Chillicothe, Ohio. . . . J'espère que pas de blessure grave, l'auto sa reste de la tôle.
All good! We went back out the next day after fixing the car all night and were on the podium!
Love the vids! I'm going through prep now for Ridge, so I feel this lol
Good luck on the prep and the rally coming up!
Didn’t know nitrous was common for rally
@@KCAutoworks all the NOS!
Love the super nerdy detailed build stuff, keep it up 🤘
Definitely will try to keep up with things as best I can. Thanks!
Looking good man! 👍
Thanks dude! Lots more to go still but getting closer everyday
Hell yeah 🤘🤘
Hell yea brother 💪🏻
Pump up the jams!!
My clip made the video 🤘
Who’s car is that in the back at 1:55
Just got a better look at it on for SOFR video. Is that your “arrive and drive” vehicle ?
@@HazardSports it is arrive and drive, but customer owned car.
Safety first!
@@patrickkchin especially when it comes to my eyes
I never thought about a line lock for mine. I like that idea and placement. I need to get moving on my own project 😅
Get on it!!
Cant wait to see the car in action 🤘
Me neither! Will be a good one
To give a little more insight from the sponsor side, its not entirely about followers, more recently sponsors favor engagement ratios, so if you have 5,000 followers and are getting 1,000 likes/comments that is generally a good starting point
Good point! It is important to gain the followers so the engagement ratio could be better.
Is that a rally VW behind you at the end of the video?
Nope, thats a Fiesta ST we are building. Lots of custom stuff going into this one.
Which jack is that Bill, looks like a decent alternative to the AC ones.
@@TedAndkilde I forget the exact name because the stickers are gone, but it’s a Compac. Very similar to the AC everyone uses. This model in particular has been discontinued unfortunately which is part of the reason it took so long to find a replacement part. Most of the reason for it taking so long was I couldn’t find the original paperwork on it from the move and all. I did eventually find the info I needed to track down the spring and was happy to find that parts are still available for this jack and should be for a long time.
Love you bud❤
As someone relatively new to rally in the US, I've met some of the best people in my year doing media, and I think what makes it so tough is how close everyone is to one another. You aren't just competitors, everyone kinda feels like a big family. I didn't personally know anyone that passed away, but I know people that knew them, and I still felt the impact they had on everyone's life I hope that things get better, man
Hey Billy, yesterday I was just thinking about when I ran into you at Sunday Motor Co. Sorry to hear things have been rough, but it sounds like you're getting refocused and on the right track. I still have my broken Motorsport sticker on my hood, and it's still my favorite sticker. Love you bud. Dan
150+ days later, and I'm not sure how much people have started to follow each other and interact with their postings. Kind of a hard one to track in general. Hopefully, people have started to engage a bit more. Thank you to all who commented and started working to build a bigger network for rally!
How did you bleed the coolant system w a pressurized tank
What size core did you go with?
Hi William, quick question. There is a blanking plug for the firewall by the looks of it right behind the wiper motor, you can see it starting from 11:54 segment section of the video. It looks like it is going just under and behind the dashboard. Do you know where it leads exactly and does it have access behind it for some silly DIY ideas on a stock interior? Seems like a perfect place for a thick second loom if nothings is obstructing it. Thanks a lot for the videos and your time
Oh! Thats an access for a bolt for the dash.
@@BrokenMotorsports Cheers for the reply. But, are you sure it is for the dash? I believe the dashboard itself is only held by 5 or 6 screws, and none are right below the windscreen (just above the wiper motor) when looking from the engine bay. Maybe I am wrong. I watched your other videos working on the Z. Seems like its a decent size hole leading ti some sort of a bracket with another hole. Bra ket being hollow, there might be space between it and the main frame to slip a loom in.
It’s for the dash bar, the holds the dash pad in.
@@BrokenMotorsports Aha! Will have a poke around and see if it has enough space for what I am planning. Cheers!
Great Video Bill! Enormous Perspective and plan. I’m personally very thankful with the whole North American Rallying scene a dream in progress for me started Volunteering for rallies and teams, to crew chief up to providing a brand with a professional crew service pre- during and post rallying races to our fellow drivers and event other crew teams. My formula has been bring at least one new individual to a rally either to spectate/ or help around. Honestly it has worked all of them have gotten hooked with the sport and they actually bring new individuals the years after. So yeah that’s a bit of feedback or idea to throw out there. Feel free to drop a subscribe ,ill definitely return the 🚀❤🍻 cheers.
This guy is the reason I got into rally ^^ 🤙
cant paaaaahk there buuud
Thanks! I just subscribed to you, and have done business with you before as well. I'm the builder of the "Angry Egg" Fiat 500 Abarth that I'll eventually use to compete in the New England area. I've got a time lapse style build series on my channel, as well as some videos from NEFR over the last several years.
Awesome! Thank you!
Well done, Bill! I appreciate you taking the time and effort to put this together as well as step up first to keep this ball rolling. It’s gonna take some time and effort but the results could have compounding affects for everyone. Hope we get the chance to catch up at STPR again this year.
I’m really hoping everyone takes this seriously and starts following each other. Hopefully the results will be a much broader audience for rally in North America
its them damn al gore rhythms!!111
Hahaha how have I never heard this one before 🤣
We have a post over on FB collecting everyone’s links. Check it out: facebook.com/share/p/iZVVATyn57aGrjWV/?
This is actually a really good idea. I need to do a better job following back. I just started a new account on IG for just my rally car. @ThatGraySentra UA-cam requires more time and hardware than I care to invest anymore so I don't put much content there.
I love the idea of supporting everyone
good ideas.
As a motorsport/car enthusiast content brand, with a huge love of rally and wanting to grow the sport through my own channel because I want to stage rally myself. This is the situation me and my team are in. We are new, no one really knows us and we are hitting every hurdle here. Especially in just getting noticed. Sponsorship is by far the hardest. The cost is huge for new teams like us. Not everyone has the funds or resources to dive into the sport. I have a car, but I still need alot of work to be stage competition ready. I also need the other resources like a trailer and such to make the events. This is a huge deal breaker for many. The sport has a high cost per event just for the thrill. In terms of followers. To get 10k followers/likes etc is also a problem. If no one knows you, you don't get followers, the algorithms just don't move you beyond a small group. So this means years of posting and trying to get people to follow you. To have that "viral hit" make you big is usually not easily done. That burns out teams over time. I'm trying to bridge that gap for new drivers and teams, even the veteran teams who need a boost in support. I believe if the teams and drivers get more support, this will grow the sport even more! Especially from bigger companies and drive more local companies to also sponsor many of its regional drivers. If there is local influx of business each time a rally is in town, that also boosts the local economy. Companies local to the events should be looking at the drivers for advertising opportunities. For me, I am ready to hit the local enthusiast events to not only get exposure and fan support I also see it as the opportunity to boost the sport. Get my sponsors exposure and network. That said, I don't want to be the negative nelly here. I'm ready to follow every team on social media! I'm ready to interact more. I am ready to use my brand to help others along side me and grow this sport. Everyone can find me on many platforms. Facebook, IG, X, Threads, Tik Tok etc. The catch-all is the website dropagearindustries.com I welcome networking with anyone who wants to talk and I look forward to boosting each other's brands as we work together to grow this sport!
Nicely put! That’s the plan here! We can all grow together to help bring this sport up
@BrokenMotorsports I'm ready to team up in any capacity with anyone else interested in progressing this sport!
All rallyists supporting each other with likes/follows and engagement is just the bare minimum. 10k is just a stepping stone to 100k but the only way to get there is to entertain or educate. My recommendation for priority of effort for content is: 1. UA-cam 2. Instagram 3. TikTok There’s plenty of research on which platforms are most popular with Gen-Z/Millenials, but historically these platforms are the most responsive to rally content when produced for their platforms in mind.
Thanks for chiming in on this one Sam! I do believe we can make a significant impact on things with this all in mind. We will be pinning a post on the North America Rally group on FB this coming week once SnoDrift is done, for everyone to drop in their social links.
Yes yes and yes
