Ok so I literally have no idea what you cooked this in and I don’t cook and I’m dumb. Basically I’m saying I know nothing BUT my first thought about overnight is one of confusion. Is there risk of a fire if you don’t monitor it? What is heating the thing coals? How do you maintain heat overnight? That brisket looks delicious though my god
That's a brisket smoked on a pellet smoker, the firebox is automatically fed wood pellets allowing him to sleep through the cook. Most pellet smokers are good at keeping semi-consistent temperatures, but they also have built-in emergency functions in case the smoker's temperature gets too hot or cold.

That's what I always thought. The only advantage is flavour. Other than that it's a waste of wagyu which is famous for it's fat content and soft meat. If you grind beef, you need to add your own fat so what's the point?
