Emerging Vancouver circus troupe Acrovert will be debuting their new show, “Living Room” at the Orpheum Annex on June 29 th for The Vancouver Circus Festival. These multidisciplinary artists will bring an eclectic mix of circus to the stage, with hand to hand, group acrobatics, banquine, dance, aerials and juggling.
In a crowded urban apartment, a handful of eclectic roommates share the joys and sorrows of living together in a small shared space. The living room becomes their place of connection, conflict, communication, co-creation, and chaos. Challenged by their lack of personal space, circus becomes their creative outlet that develops their relationships. The artists defy gravity with high-flying acrobatics, aerials arts and juggling as everyday existence is transformed into an intimate and innovative living circus space.
