Gundam D E E P S T R I K E R | Master Grade Gunpla Episode 1: Speed Build and Speed Drawing
In this gunplay video I snap build the master grade Gundam Deep Striker from Gundam Sentinel, made by Bandai. After building it up, I then speed draw it. I couldn't find any good line art online of the Deep Striker, surprisingly. So I made my own. This line art will be used in future videos for chiseling ideas, coloring schemes, and added detail without having to touch the plastic model itself.
Finally finished this video. Not sure why it took me so long. Intimidating I guess. Just glad that, at long last, this is out to you guys who have stayed subbed these past two years. Hope you enjoy this.

Finally, I've got a little something for you guys. It's Bandai's master grade 1/100 Deep Striker Gundam from the Gundam Sentinel novel. I've finished filming the snap build portion of my next video. It took me a month and a half. Too many damn new filming skills to pick up. 😑 This video is a teaser for what will, in essence, be a series of gunpla short films. For this teaser I've included a sho...

First gunpla video of its kind on this channel. A highly compressed look at the near month-long build to complete a gundam scale model kit. From snap build through chiseling, airbrushing and decaling. Took me a good long while to complete this video. Very proud of it, though it still needs improvement in places. But better to get it out and move on to the next project. I accidentally placed the...

What an amazing build ! I myself will start working on the Rayleonard Krasnaya soon, planning to make the red metallic finish, with matte finish on the dark grey and black parts.
Holy shit. This vid needs more exposure
Badass! Subbed Keep it up!
damn was just thinking about building this last night and was contemplating if i should make custom panel lines. what you did here looks soooo good! thanks for the inspiration! :)
This is an awesome work! The details and the colour and crazy the back weapons Holder looks like from AC3. Oh well still cool! Is there other poses you can make? Or is unstable?
Thank you! Unfortunately it is too unstable.
@@proxidevo9164 Aww! So it needs sort of stander or something
This is my favourite kit of all time! Always love to see an amazing custom build of it
What a great kit! Thanks for watching.

And another great video. I didn't know i needed to watch this until i did. Keep up the good work! This is ART! Also i love the T H I C CStriker
Thicc striker! 🤣 A man of taste.
A New Video after So So Soooooo Long.
😆 it has been very long.
I’m glad I stumbled upon this video, great quality, awesome camera and editing work. And above all, what an awesome build! I always drool when i see this mobile suit and yours made me drool even harder. Keep up the good job!
Hey thanks! You have good taste in mechs 😉
This is fantastic work. Kotobukiya kit tend to take a lot of more work to look good compared to gundam kits. The panel lines inscribing really take it to the next level.
Wow thank you! And yes, I think you're right. The Koto kits take way more work. I think this kit took me the longest to finish by a good 100 hours. The XN Raiser, despite being larger, took less!
You can very much feel the organic flow of the build process here. Great stuff. Nice design also. ✌
Badass
I like the way camera moves itself in every corner that's really reminds me of the game in "view mode". Hopefully to see next build kits AC+MSG, great work man it so detailing. (Gladly some build artist still appreciate armored core franchise)
Dafuck? Only around 600 subs? This content deserve millions. Awesome job. Subscribed after watching this single video!
Hahaha! Thanks, glad you liked it.
Love watching the process. I don’t even scribe, i just find these videos very relaxing.
The chiseling part is impressive 😮 Thank you for sharing this great video 😃
Thank you for your generous compliments, on this video and the other. Very glad that you enjoyed them. 😊
It's a great detailing and a great custom color 👍 I also like the quality and editing of the video. I'm so glad I found a great channel 😃
Please do more armored core model kits!! I love your videos and how you rotate the finished model!
I sure would like to do an AC kit after this one. I was thinking Noblesse Oblige or Project Magnus. What's your favorite?
@@proxidevo9164 that would be stellar. My fave is the Armored Core Mirage C-01 Gaea Action Model Kit.
please do more armored core kits!
Lot of work went into this I can tell!
It was! Hope you enjoyed the watch.
I plan to do like this,as a beginner who want to start build a gundam, should i do this? and what tools and substances I have to use
I have many old videos that describe some of the tools I use. It is not comprehensive. If you need more though, this is where I learned everything I needed for my first build. otakurevolution.com/content/laymans-gunpla-guide

Thanks for watching. Glad that you got so much value from this.
Lovely stuff! Are you on a hiatus at the moment?
Thanks! I'm working on a new video at the moment. But things are slow moving.
@@proxidevo9164 That's good to hear, can't wait to see more builds!
This is good
Well thank you. What did you enjoy most about it?
To be honest I like long videos with normal speed when talking. At least for me you have the best explanation especially in scribing
Thanks for your input.
Can I ask why is that when I’m spraying primer on a white part and red part, the primer colour shown on the red part is always dimmer/darker ? And I have applied multiple (4/5) layers and still can’t even it out ?
A great question. You've discovered the way color behaves when airbrushing. Unfortunately, it always leaks through, unless you use a primer darker than it. White primer can never completely cover it. One rule of thumb for airbrushing kits is that if you want to change a color away from the base color, going darker is thorough. Going lighter though... If it really bothers you, grey primer covers dark colors more thoroughly. However, grey primer tends to dampen main coat colors, which is why I prefer white primer. It's not shown in the video, but I had the same problem with this kit when spraying the red (and blue) parts with white primer. It never gets as bright as true white. What color are you trying to make the red part? If you're going to make it red anyway, it doesn't really matter whether its tint matches the white parts. If you're trying to change it to white as a main coat however, you're going to need a lot of main coat. And even then, the red might find its way through. Maybe you can neutralize it by adding a dash of green to the mixture, since green and red are complementary colors; just a thought. Did any of this help?
@@proxidevo9164 thanks for the reply! I am trying to pain the red part grey (with grey primer). I might try using green on top of grey primer next time and see how it goes!
Try adding white primer too! If your grey primer coat isn't bright enough, perhaps all you need is some white. Good luck!
You should get your ass back to work!
First time seeing your channel and first video I am watching. You got me hooked with your editing skill. 👍👍
Thanks! Appreciate the encouragement.
Why this channel sub so few
Spread the word! 😊
Im so glad the fandom for Armored Core hasn't died yet
I hope it never dies. But we need a new game!
Amazing and so detailed! Do you mind me asking what you use to shoot your footage? Everything is so high-quality!
Hey thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video. I shot on a Samsung NX1, a mirrorless DSLR.
Thank you!
The attention to detail is off the charts.
In the AC4/FA artbook, page 65 is dedicated to a scrapped idea where the elbow of the Aaliyah arms hides a sub arm that connects to the bottom of the Marve rifle (the panel line on the butt of the rifle is supposed to pop out to function as a handle) to improve stability and handling during operation. I wonder if anyone has tried recreate that function in the model kits.
That was soooo clean 00 raiser Perfect 👌👌👌
Heyyy, thanks. 😊
Awesome job!!! Beautiful panel scribing, nice cobal blue, though i prefer the clear parts to stay clear and not realy the fan of this greenish yellow, but that's just a matter of taste. Otherwise epic!!!
Appreciate your input. Thanks for watching!
Personally, I think you went a bit overboard on the scribing. There’s a fine line in my experience between just enough detail and too much. I like the philosophy behind the panel lines I just personally think there are too many of them. You did a very good job on it though so I definitely respect your skill and drive even if the aesthetics aren’t as much to my taste. Keep up the good work man, you got a sub out of me.
Looking back at this piece, I definitely agree. I can see how I was trying anything that came to mind for the sake of trying it. The legs especially. Check out my more recent works. Definitely toned back the quantity and increased the variety. Thanks for chiming in!
You are too underrated :'(
Aw, thanks. Glad you enjoyed the show.
Original is the best
You prefer the yellow and red accents?
