Drag Across Drawbar
Quick demo of the Drag Across Drawbar feature for the Korg Kronos version 3.0+. The main faders default for use to control the upper drawbars but it has been awkward to control the lower drawbars. Now it's pretty quick and easy using the touch screen.

Manfredo Fest - That's What She Says
Saw it in the theater in 1961. That's when I fell for Paula Prentiss. I was 12.
Thank you for this!
“Don’t ever use jive talk in my presence!” 😂
I watch this movie and love it , because when I was 20 I spent 2 weeks in Lauderdale , I loved it .I am now in my sixties .I checked on the hotel The Holiday Inn , Lauderdale by the Sea it is now a vacant lot .
And this why jazz died :-/
I love this movie
Tuggle fancam plz
2:49 The great Dennis Budimir on guitar!
CONNIE FRANCIS
Oh yeah, he played with Sergie Mendez before he came to the US.
Also heard him at the St Paul Hotel many times, awesome! I'm so glad that this original version is finally on UA-cam.
This entire movie is terrific
it is not always and not in every kronos, as practice has shown, that you can immediately load the User-bank. Errors often occur, and you just need to first load a full bank into memory, then save it in your instrument, and then load the USER banks saved in your own instrument into the sample memory
There are many things I don't like about UA-cam. However, the one thing I enjoy most about UA-cam is the ability to be introduced to musical perspectives we normally would never encounter in our daily lives. This song has expanded my horizons by 4 minutes and 3. For this, I am grateful.
Marx claimed anything he couldn't understand was a dialectic...
Killer...the music just percolates with Brasil style.
Love it!!!! I wish I was born then.....but then I wouldn't be able to do this type of stuff. But I can still dream. Turn on the sunshine put the blues away
I know it is kinda randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Neil Konnor lately I have been using Flixzone. Just google for it :)
Truely enjoyable. Great bass line!
ah what a tune!
Alejo Poveda from Costa Rica at the drums.
I agree superb timeless Brazilian music. And most of the tracks from the original 1976 LP where re- done on his later albums Braziliana (1987) & Jungle Cat (1989). Although with a more acoustic than electric feel but both great albums. In 2011 Brazilian Dorian Dream CD was released on Japanese label & US label (Omega) Also Manfredo fans must check-out the album by Hendrik Meurkens & Manfredo Fest - Dig This Samba (1998)
Lindo
Can This Be Used In Kontakt 5 ?
great video, too.
Orgulho de poder ter feito parte de sua vida. ..Amado padrinho !
you are sooooo smart
Thanks for uploading :)
DONDE PUEDO HALLARLA VERSION COM PIANO ALGUIEN ME PUDE DECIR GRACIAS????? YO CREO QUE ES MEJOR QUE ESTA COM SAMPLER ETC
When Manfredo Fest came to the US to work at Davy Jones Locker in Minneapolis, he stayed with us on Franklin Avenue. I believe this would've been 1967.
Many thanks to Francois Rossi for providing the translation
I feel wind in my mind.
Not bad - but 'Jungle Kitten' was the best he ever did.
Better then "not bad, no?"
I prefer Jungle Cat from this album... the Manifestations album is good but a bit watered down I think...
Someone post "Turn On The Sunshine"!
The vocalist is my best friends mom, the late, great, amazing Roberta Davis - SHOUT OUT TO ST. PAUL, MN!!!!
Incredible!!! As far as I can see, each instrument being played is spot-on!!
He should be called Manfredo Best or Manfredo the Beast....
love the animation on the background..so 80's :)
Frank Gorshin is so incredibly funny in this movie (well, he always is). And those glasses.. xD
The corner bar has thinner glass block windows!
great film
@RizRa: this track is updated on his dmp Records album "Braziliana," which opens with this track. It is a more acoustic recording than this one (all piano as opposed to what he's playing here). That could be the one you heard.
I'm with the drummer now! If you listen at 2mins 48 secs you can hear he breaks a stick!!!!!! The legend that is Alejo Poveda........Dah Dah dah, Dah dah dah, Dah Dah Dah
Very Contemporary!
Reminds me of "Too High" Stevie Wonder...
I was at the St. Paul Hotel too, many times, and I've a big Gypsy fan. You have good taste.
Having had the pleasure of hearing Manfredo play piano at the St Paul Hotel back in the 80s, I am pleased to hear this song posted here. I had a cassette dub of the album that I lost. Now I can hear his amazing chops, and Roberta Davis' sweet voice once again. Plus, he was just one of the sweetest people you'd ever meet. Always took time to talk to you on the gig.
I saw him at the Green Mill in Chicago in 1990, which was great. I also know the drummer on this album, who's still playing in Chicago and is a great guy. (end namedrop) Thanks for posting!
I was fortunate enough to be living in St. Paul, MN when Manfredo was there. I took several lessons from him, and saw him perform countless times. He was an unbelievable musician, and such a nice man, too.
Manfredo was a monster player and a true gentleman. Thanks for posting.
Wonderfull !!
Wonderfull !!
