Thanks everyone who are sticking around. I'm surprised to even have 80 subscribers for this channel. I'll keep practicing! 10/21/24 I think the part right after the first sweep is slowing me down when I have to slide back and forth on the fret before going for the next sweep. Also maybe I shouldn't have to pick the notes so hard so I can gain more speed, I just hope the notes are still distinct...

Week 6: Learning Never Forget/忘れてやらない Guitar Solo 50% speed with some TABS
Переглядів 1362 місяці тому
10/08/24 I don't really know how to write tabs. The tabs I wrote is just the one difference I've noticed when I compare it with how everyone else plays the solo. Hopefully my ears didn't deceive me. But honestly, I probably wouldn't hear the difference at full speed anyways. Mitsui Ritsuo's video: ua-cam.com/video/6qb7KWnmF-s/v-deo.html

9/26/24 It's slowly somewhat resembling it. I've also heard that practicing a hard part in a "swing" style sometimes could help your fingers get used to the movement of that part. Idk if it's true.

I remember trying to record this for the first time when I was just beginning. I tried for two hours and ended up not uploading any of it because of how bad all the takes were. Big respect to the people who just upload anyways.

9/10/24 I'm getting that same feeling that this is going to be impossible, or it will take YEARS to get decent at this. This is what I felt when I was starting to learn the Seishun Complex guitar solo, and recently I've made considerable progress on that solo faster than I had thought. It's just difficult to believe until I actually do it. Also big difference from the first video is that I use ...

09/02/2024 I'm going to try to record this progress a bit more consistently for learning this guitar solo, so I'll try an upload an update once every week. Right now the goal is just to build muscle memory with this sequence. The hardest part that I think will take a WHILE to really nail down is transitioning quickly from the pull off from the E-string right into the beginning hand position for...

It's gettin there! Mostly the really figuring out how to play the timing for those fast pull offs was giving me trouble, because it happens so fast, it's hard to even hear the individual notes and when I should be getting to the D string in time. One thing that really helped was, when you get to the D string in that part at 00:14, I would not play the first two notes there, but play only the la...

ua-cam.com/video/PFoGNZ05CJw/v-deo.html&pp=ygUVbW9vbmEgd2hvIHRveGljIGNvdmVy I'm glad Moona performed this song at the latest holofest. It took advantage of the live band so well, and it was one of the highlights for me watching the stream of the live. Other notable ones for me were Sorairo Days and KanaMari's mashup. I'm back from my trip to Japan! and I also got some Bocchi merch, plus I got t...

You don't have to watch this. Just noting some things after trying to get a few successful attempts during this. The biggest thing I noticed is that I need to be confident and just attack the riff whether I get it or not, because if I hesitate, I'm more likely to fail the riff halfway through, and I end up with a self-fulfilling prophecy. 06:54 - 1st decent attempt 09:49 - 2nd 10:57 - 3rd 11:46...

What amp is that? And what kinda pedals did you use
The AMP is Yamaha THR 10 II, and i dunno the pedals, but its in description of the video
still good even if it's slowed down
pls dont stop posting man :"o

love from Brazil!!❤❤ Keep going man!
Just got you in my reccomended and looking to see your progress! I'm doing similar stuff for other bocchi songs on my guitar, though it isn't a les paul.
Sounds original

Woah GuitarHero in real
Your video arrived here in Brazil 🎉❤
this is great man i been trying to learn it too, how amp and setting did u use to get that tone?
Yamaha thr-10II with Blues Driver pedal ua-cam.com/video/kDZqqqWOW7E/v-deo.html I mostly watched this video to help me get there: ua-cam.com/video/UirQ_fFctcI/v-deo.html
1.25 speed is good
I am depressed, you are so good, yet my solo for god knows still kind of sucks 😢
Thanks, but I don't think I'm good yet. This is just one recording where I happened to get a pretty good run on the solo. I can't recreate it easily even right now, but I'm working on it slowly. It's good this isn't a race, because a ton of people would have already beat me to the finish line, if there even is one.
You got it very close brother!!
nice progress
thanks! Nice oshi
Such a wonderful progress and a show of perseverance!
holy you've basically already gotten the sweep picking part down, just that slight part around the 14th and the 16th feels rushed. other than that amazing attempt so far
hey just a food for thought but i think the modern amp would go better with bocchi songs since im pretty sure its supposed to be the same as a marshall type amp ? i find that using it helps give me the closest tone to bocchi's
Modern on special? What cabinet also? I was trying it yesterday, but I couldn't really get it to sound good, at least to me.
I'm thinking of buying the same guitar you are using is it good?
once i get seishun complex down i'm gonna challenge myself with this one, I'm done with staying in my comfort zone and plauteuing, I will become guitar hero!
Good luck!
殆ど弾けてる!もう一息!! 私も練習してます!

nice sounds great rly inspires me!!
it help me a lot to setting the THR tone~ thanks thanks
Nice❤🔥
Huge W sounds amazing
Woahh nicee playingg !! ur vids are such an inspirationn. Do u have any tips for the sweep picking part? bcs I myself still cant manage to do sweep picks TwT
Thanks, I don't really think I play the sweep part as good as I can yet. I had to look back at my older videos, when I had just started learning the solo to remember how I improved since then. Two things came to mind: First, I had to make sure I could at least play through that whole fast section without slowing down too much or stopping at 50% speed, then gradually get faster. In other words, I wanted to build confidence in that I was playing the right notes and also playing them at the correct timing, because when I get to playing at full speed, I want to do it without thinking and hesitating about the notes. So on my week 6 video, I really studied how Mitsui Ritsuo played it. Week 6: ua-cam.com/video/NU4f3RSdOy8/v-deo.html <--Hopefully this video helps with clarity on how the notes are played. Second, this is similar to my first point, but make sure you are playing it "right". What I mean is, are you playing the notes as efficiently as possible? On week 1, when I first started with the solo, I was actually playing the sweep with the wrong finger shape, so it really felt impossible at the time to play this fast. I was playing the first sweep with my index and ring finger, when I should have been playing it with my middle finger and pinky, because it makes getting to the next note way faster now that the index finger isn't already busy. Lastly, I know I said two things, but this is just a small one. When I tried just lightly or softly sweeping/picking over the strings, instead of giving the strings 100% force all the time, I was able to get the sweep more smoothly and more often. I think it's a good way to practice just the feel of the sweep, then gradually try to play the sweep louder and clearer. Sorry it's kind of a long read. I don't know how exactly you're playing it, so I just put in everything I could give. Hope it helps!
@SlowBocchi-ik6jy woah thats a lot of infos, hhhmm i'll try ur approach n see if it works. Thanks a lot for dedicating ur time to share this knowledge, I'll be sure to cheer u on ur journeyy🔥
what song was the first riff? it was somewhat familliar to me
It was all Seishun Complex
how do you get that tone?
previous video they have amp settings there as well as guitar settings and pedal settings
@@eastercreeper alright thanks!
@@TropicTurtle718 to add on, it's the settings at the end of Week 9's video with the blues driver. The only difference is I turn the tone knob on the pedal all the way up when I play Never Forget.
@ got it, thanks!
Thank you for sharing the settings!
かっこいい !!!
ありがとう thank you!
Nice ❤
Yay new amp settings ty I recently got a th10ii because its a step up from bocchi's thr5
If you don't mind me asking, what kind of guitar do you have?
@@SlowBocchi-ik6jy Epiphone les paul
@@SlowBocchi-ik6jy great guitar i love it
ur epiphone sounds so crunchy, did u change the pickups or smth ? it sounds too good man.. using the thr30ii but still not getting quite the same tone LOL (using an epiphone custom silverburst but idk if im tweaking my amp settings wrong or what not)
It's stock pickups and I'm actually thinking of getting a new bridge pickup to sound less crunchy and more thin. My next upload will have a screen shot of the amp settings I usually use.
i went to a yamaha shop before and tested the bd-2 with the thr30ii and the shop staff suggested using the special preset to pair with it and it worked pretty well!
It sounds a little bit like a FLCL OST too😄
What is FLCL
@PizzaSlices2000 Anime
@ I mean what does it stand for
@@PizzaSlices2000 Fooly Cooly
@@PizzaSlices2000that's the name. Flcl. It doesn't stand for anything
please share your amp and pedal settings!! it's really identical to bocchi's in my opinion
this might be outdated, but they have it in an older video ua-cam.com/video/0dtC59bgI8s/v-deo.html
