Patch Of The Week - Grind and Grit
A slightly modified leftover patch from last week with some additional tweaks. It starts off like it might have some body, but strays from the path rather quickly.
Trying to lean into the Pickup machine of the Octatrack to have some fun while juggling some of the other pieces. I think it mostly comes off as noise, and has some nice fun sounds, but nothing to write home about.
Looking forward to less noise next week. This one was just for giggles.

Well, I spent more time with the Bitbox like I had planned. I loaded some recordings I'd made while exploring some guitar pedals, mostly noodles. I ran the slicer on the longer recording and had it run Random on trigger. The longer sample keeps things interesting. Pardon the levels on this on. Focused on learning granular processing with the 1010 Bitbox using some sampling from the 4MS VCA Matrix. Using a Moog MOTHER-32, Moog SUBHARMINICON, and Elektron Analog Keys, I explored a patch called Extra Life that was brought in to Ableton Live 11 through the Elektron Analog Keys Overbridge Interface. Some fun was had in this 17 minute capture. My export was brought into Resolume arena 7.8 and some FFT effects applied to some simple imagery to make it all less dull. I hope you enjoy.
