This was so helpful to me as someone who just got a higher paying job and will move into an apartment soon, with a partner who makes much less money. I'm positive it'll be worth it but I am used to splitting expenses 50/50 and historically I have been more stingy/frugal so I think it'll take a lot of getting used to and some moments might be hard. Do you have any thoughts on this? Thank you I've loved your content for years (since ex boyfriend frat house hahah) <3

I wanted to point out that mortgages do increase over time when property taxes and insurance increase yearly. Generally, those three things are wrapped into one big payment each month. My mortgage was $950 when I first bought my house and is now $1125.

I had a friend recently share with me because we both have ADHD that we need to develop a few morning routines, depending on how we feel so we didn’t feel defeated by the challenges that come from ADHD. Not that diagnosis applies to you, but maybe winter spring summer and fall could have their own morning routines so that you could still keep up with a routine regardless of the season and time change.🍁🍁🍁 I can see where you would feel challenged by daylight coming with a two hour difference . Walking your dog and a morning workout definitely put the rhythm to a day. I can see that when 9 o’clock rolls around where you would already want to be on your way with work and further daily routines. I hope that can help you🍁🍁🍁

I often wake before anyone. It’s a pain because I can’t shower or I wake my husband. I can’t unload the dishwasher for the same reason. I eat and get my daughter’s lunch ready. I take a nap around 9:30 because I get up so early

I start my mornings with Jesus! I don’t know if you have a relationship with him, but I feel amazing after my morning routine! Also writing my morning thoughts in a journal makes me feel great too!
