video how to make a velocity stack with the lathe
Great videos mate, and your English is 100 times better than my French 🤣💪🏼
I almost got this to work but had splitting problems. What alloy do you use?
How was using vibrant performance tubing
Please tell my what lubricant you use when shaping the aluminum.
Hi simple all usage grease
can you make me 3
Hi I'm sorry no I cannot thank you
Hello I have been following your video And been using it as a reference I want to build a intake for my M90 supercharger I have a person who can wield it for Me I was just wondering privately privately can you share your measuremen the intake
Hi sorry I Sold My car 7 years ago i can't help you with this
OK thank sir
Would you be interested in building another intake manifold like u did here that I could buy from you? Of if you already have one that u would sell. What would you want price wise?
I am sorry I already said that in previous post I cannot do that again
Awesome build! What size was the pipe that you use to make the intake plenum out of?
hi it 2 inch 6061 aluminum Best regards,
good numbers.
This is awesome methid thanks for sharing. PLEASE DONT WORK ON LATHE IN GLOVES OR LONG LOOSE SLEEVES. I know of people in my town that god hurt badly. One ripped arm in shoulder, and two broken fists. Lathe will catch your glove and it wont just slip off
I was thinking that too. It made me cringe.
I’m doing same project What’s was your boost pressure? pulley size ?
boost pressure was 10 pounds with a built motor the pulley size i don't recall i sold the car 7 years ago
what lathe is that?
it's a smithy's 3 in 12
I know this. Idea is old but it’s so good
Hey bro are you selling kits ?
Hi Sorry no
Get those Gloves off before you loose your fingers of hand!!!
I do not want this guy making anything for me.
because he wears gloves? lol
Aluminum c'est du 6061
Result looks very nice and method seems easy to perform. Thanks for the lesson. Could you precise what kind of aluminum alloy you have selected to do it?
How much for a 2 1/4” ID ( on the straight part ) aluminum velocity stack . I got a carb and bought a velocity stack and it won’t fit right. I can make a flange on the mill and then weld on the part that you make me .. well if you can make me one , or even feel like it ! Lol ... don’t care what radius it is or exact length but like 3-4” long would be good. Just trying to keep busy .. I hate being locked in the house.
hi Raymond, it's a nice video, i like it.Do you make tune Velocity stack, i mean some adapted perfectly to a bike ?
I am sorry I don't make it
@@raymonddemers3768 Ok,no problem my friend
where did you get the bracket for the fuel pump to hold it in place?
Yes i did
I made it from a pieces of tubing drilling and tapping the ends it easy to make
Nice build Could you tell us the mod parts you installed on this setup ?
Dude this is an amazing build. So 372HP/325ft lbs trq is insane for a M90 supercharger on a K24. Giving me ideas for a K24 Miata build with the M90. Absolutely amazing! Dyou have your build on the Montreal Racing forum ?
Thank you and no it's not on montreal racing
@@raymonddemers3768 seriously man you gotta put this into production. This he an amazing supercharger kit since the m90 sc are dirt cheap and plentiful
how much would you charge me for 4 of them?
I am Sorry but i did it only for meself
I am also wanting to do this can you tell me how much that intercooler was
That’s awesome, I just grabbed one off of a Buick yesterday for my Lancer Wagon. You mind if I hit you up for questions as I go?
No problem
Is that an Eaton m90?
Yes it is
Can I get to the fuel pump on a 07 Accord 3.0. The same way?
It's supposed to be the same
Raymond Demers thank you 👍🏻
Will you have any of your intake manifolds available for sale?
sorry no i did it for the fun of it not to start a business witch i already have
salut, quelle tour fraiseuse avez vous ? est il précis ect ? elle n'as pas l'air très puissante
Bonjour J'ai une smithys de base juste pour mes petit travaux
This is fucking awesome! how thick of a matterial did you use?
Hi the thickness is 0.065
What super you using?
I use 94
Raymond Demers 94 rotrex?
What kind of welder are you using? Tig or mig with a spool gun?
Taylor Young sorry for the long delay I am in vacation I used a tig welder for this but get a professional to weld it it is very difficult to weld
Raymond Demers no worries man. Miller or Lincoln?
Miller
hey man thanks so much for showing this and the tool for forming it, just made a stack came out good.
Can you make me 6 please
I am sorry many people ask me this but i really don't have the time to do this
TAKE OFF THE GLOVES...... PLEASE...... that is dangerous.....
If you don't ditch the gloves, one day you won't need them....l
Wish you were A little more detailed on what plastic you were cutting out..
what an awesomely built intake manifold! cheers from São Paulo mate!
Do you still have all your digits since the making of this video? I have watched people lose fingers more than once by wearing gloves while working with machinery. I guess you don't know the ins and outs of machine safety. leave the gloves off when making anything on that machine. Very nice video, though.
on the video, what materials are used?
hi 1.5mm tick aluminum tube
Thanks mister..
no offense, but those welds looked pretty bad. Are you using a MIG gun for it?
hi i am using a tig my friend welded it for me but for some reason we had a lot of problems welding it
So it's been 5 years....do you still have both hands?
You sir are an artist. It was a pleasure to watch you work
This is exactly what I wanna do to my k24! Do you happen to have a build thread anywhere? I want to attempt to use an m112 from an 03-04 Cobra. They’re very affordable here in the states.
awesome! Have you done any internal engine upgrades?
1Blue636 I drove the car for 3 years with the stock motor and this one was a forged motor with the drag cartel head
Thanks for the upload! Wow! that's a big old lump of torque on the mid range and dropping away at 5800! Was the supercharger running out of boost above 6k rpm?
Mole Finkle the supercharged was at it's limits need a whipple for more
Surprenant de voir ton vidéo apparaître aussi tard
Pascal Godin on me le demandais
Bonjour je suis vraiment désolé du délai je suis trop occupé en ce moment ,j'utilise un simple torche a soudé
