That closing of service 'Toccata' was quite Gothic 😮 TY for the exquisite performance on HT's Skinner pipe organ. It certainly set the tone for October's Halloween themed month in the secular 🌎🌍

I 🙏 that the mite box was presented with gifts at the 10:30 am service today. I've watched women from the congregation in past years drop their mini mite box coins collected in the church's mite box 😊

I don't know what happened with streaming HT UA-cam channel today, but I appreciate being able to start with seeing Vicar Adam's Sermon, The Lord's Prayer, Holy Communion and the Benediction 🙏

I was thinking the tree was an elm. Many were planted in Detroit, making those beautiful tunnels over the street. I too played hide and seek with the neighborhood friends.

A beautiful service for a beautiful Christian lady. The Eberhard Era at Historic Trinity was the best. Second to none. Now Pastor David Eberhard and his beloved wife Beverly are together again in Heaven. Prayers to the Eberhard family and future blessings to them also. 🙏

Such poor quality of the audio recording of the service on the repeat streaming. Only the mics on the Pastors could be heard clearly. None of the congregation, hymns, cello or organ could be heard anytime throughout the service. Although, I did enjoy the camera panning from Pastors' point of view into the congregation & choir balcony. So lovely to see the sun streaming into the church from that angle for a change.
