FCC Port Orchard is a non-denominational church in the heart of Port Orchard (South Kitsap). As a community that builds community with one another, we work to follow Jesus' decree 'to love one another' by putting love in action and community building in every event we host. Come and check us out at one of our Breakfast Churches on Sunday's, mid-week Thursdays, gatherings Sunday mornings at 10AM, or Questions and Answers After-Parties. We meet inside the Sidney Commons (3 Churches, working in the same building to impact the Kingdom together), at 4885 Hovde Road in Port Orchard, Washington. For more information check out www.fccportochard.com, or stay up to date by following our Facebook Page: FCCPortOrchard
ACTS 12 - Earnest Prayer and the Blockbuster story in ACTS
A story that rivals the greatest of Blockbuster’s. A story with a small verse containing a message SO BIG, it may just impact your everyday life (in the best kind of way). This is the story found in ACTS 12, and when we go through it in its historical and cultural context, it shows us a forgotten treasure of a lesson that can help us connect with God today!

However, so many people today think that we aren't allowed to question... not allowed to wrestle with God, Scripture, or Tradition. So how can we wrestle with God, with our past, with tradition, and scripture in ways that build our faith versus ...

Excited about Faith - Week 1 - The Heart
Переглядів 1821 день тому
It's happened to all of us at one time or another. We've all, at some point in our walks with God, experienced a loss of joy and excitement around faith. Whether it's because of circumstances, life events, unanswered questions, or struggles... there is a time in everyone's faith when they struggle to find that excitement they once knew. But what would it be like for us to go back to that place ...

This Sunday at FCC (10AM). We take a short break from our ACTS series and move into a short series all about finding the joy and hope of faith by asking the question, what would it be like for us to go back to that place when we were the most excited about God. Can we get back to that space? Even when its hard or when it doesn't feel like God is listening? Spoiler alert: the answer is yes, but ...

In a message straight from Acts 10, find how the first believers looked past their religion and traditions and discovered the heart of God (Spoiler alert: This led to the world knowing who Je...

A sin is missing the mark, the mark is the “high calling of Christ Jesus”
Till we come to the unity of the faith…. But are we walking in maturity? I attended the evening class but again the subject matter like in many churches today remains introductory and I would equate it to re-reading the manual on how to operate a vehicle that I’ve driven for 40 years. Of course it is a wonderful message of salvation providing even more information to lead a new believer or encourage somebody already on the path to God, but when I am faced with leading somebody to Christ’s work on the cross, I have already an understanding of the concept so I simply wait on the Holy Spirit for my words and don’t need to rehearse or script them or learn a new message or as Paul stated “speaking with the wisdom of man or flattering words”. What was taught on Friday evening is not the “meat of the matter” for equipping Christians to impact society outside of salvation. Christ’s command to “Be thou perfect even as my father in heaven is perfect” is the equivalent of obtaining multiple PhD’s in Jesus’Ology. To not only do as he did but to “accomplish the promise” by accepting the invitation to DO ….. the “Greater works than these shall ye do” because Jesus goes to be with his father” and so he equips us with the Holy Spirit. But with a purpose. We don’t require the Holy Spirit to read a script which educates the unbeliever in the work of the cross yet Christ said at his last supper after the Holy Spirit settled on the apostles….. “Receive ( The Holy Spirit ) and go “ If we fail to effectively exercise that power out of ignorance or a choice then as the Bible says 2 Tim 3-5 “They will act religious, but they will reject the POWER there of, Stay away from people like that!” Why would Jesus give so many examples of “The kingdom of heaven is like“ if his only message was to point us to salvation ? If all that was needed was to Continually point to his work on the cross with a message of “Believe in me and you’ll be with me in paradise” ? He could have preached this at eight years old, claimed to be God but would have found himself dead and buried under a pile of rocks thrown by all those in authority except for his need to fulfill Old Testament prophecy. They would not be a NEW Testament Bible but only a 6“ x 6“ poster which simply states “Believe in the work of the cross”, with some references pointing to Isaiah etc. of the Old Testament. What “Greater works” are to be done than Jesus did ? What is greater than the raising of the dead he speaks of ? Is simply our knowledge of the work of the cross supposed to equip us to set creation free ? Hebrews 6 1-3 Instructs us to leave behind the simple things of God or if you will, the “addition, subtraction and multiplication as in the study of math and to move onto the “probability and statistics of mathematics or the more complex matters of our faith so that we might reach the perfection / maturity he commands. One doesn’t teach in a college without the achievement of maturity and a person doesn’t reach maturity or perfection in Christ by entertaining the subtleties of “addition, subtraction and multiplication” topics of their faith. Once I have salvation under my belt I should master “The Principles of the Doctrine of Christ” found in Hebrews 6 1-3 And then as commanded EVEN “LEAVE THOSE, and GO ON TO PERFECTION “ God forbid we learn and eternally relearn and teach the 8th grade math of our faith ! We must exercise our faith in maturity with the adult tools made available ( with The power of the Holy Spirit, under the watchful eye of those placed in authority by God by prophesy, a God fearing “5 fold ministry” found in Ephesians 4:11 “Apostles prophets evangelist teachers pastors for the perfecting of the Saints” 11Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13This will continue UNTIL WE ALL COME TO THE UNITY OF THE FAITH and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the FULL AND COMPLETE STANDARD OF CHRIST Heb 6: 1-3 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3And this will we do, if God permits. 1 Corinthians 12:31 “Earnestly desire the higher gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.” 1 Corinthians 14:1 “Let love be your highest goal!” But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives-especially the ability to prophesy.” 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 7Now to each is given the manifestation of the Spirit, for the common profiting. 8For truly, to one is given a word of wisdom by the Spirit, and to another a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9and to a different one faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10and to another working of miracles, and TO ANOTHER THE GIFT OF PROPHECY, and to another distinguishing of spirits, and to a different one various kinds of tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues. 11Now one and the same the Spirit works all these things, apportioning individually to each as He wills. You say Prophecy is alive in your church but only at the top and we know by the word of God it is available to all and is to be desired. We are instructed that our words should be spoken and tested in the public arena each prophet taking turns and our words shall be confirmed by other fellow believer having this gift. Paragraph 11 of 1 Corinthians states… Now one and the same Spirit works ALL THESE THINGS apportioning individually to each as He wills.” ALL these gifts are made available to ALL according to our capacity for selfless love and as we walk in maturity and at Gods discretion. They are to be desired if we are to walk in Christ’s calling for our lives. If I’m saved at age 8 and have only read the owners manual of my car for 80 years my whole world is in the operations of my car but I’ve never used it to its full potential which requires me to use it / to interact personally with it according to its designed purpose. I have extensive theory but my potential to impact the world by what I can move ( mountains ) who I can carry ( other’s burdens ) and where I will arrive ( in Gods general vicinity walking in the city versus at his table ) is all determined by my ability or inability to act or activate / navigate life with the tools at hand. It is all in my control and at my disposal, limited only by my will to exercise Christs Authority on earth by wielding his power and authority, not only as citizens or constituents of his Kingdom, but as The Children of The Most High God, Our Father God. We should at this time have a mature understanding of the gifts of the spirit and as instructed at a minimum, desire the gift of prophecy and still remain available to be used by God by the prompting of his Holy Spirit, “Equipped for every good work” so as to not withhold any known expressions of the power of God, for the benefit of his people. If I’m not called to be a prophet, I can still prophesy. If I’m not called to be an evangelist, I can still point people to the work of Christ on the cross. If I’m not called to be a teacher ( or have a teachers anointing) I can still teach as the spirit leads, and be faithful to give by “Having a word in season” 1 Tim 4:14 instructs us to “Neglect not the gift, given by prophecy, by the laying on of hands of the presbytery” 40 years of 1st, 2nd 3rd grade math does not benefit me nor society. 40 years of remedial faith benefits none outside of the simple message of salvation. The churches of the world are equipping Christians to only be “residents or citizens of the kingdom” but not the rulers, kings and priest. they were called to be. We are called to hold doctorates in Christ that we might produce the same. Believers who can be trusted and equipped to manage Gods kingdom. And what is Gods kingdom but his people under his rule for where the king is, this is his dominion and “the kingdom of God is within”

🎉habibis immortal beings can only be killed if they are put in a mortal body by their free will ,, listen carefully let's be unified , we were all alien angel s son's of God the Lord God's children but lucyfer had a election's with 1/3rd of the angels agree for a experimental shot at playing God by themselves ,peace and grace, y'all, the evil man in Genesis 1:27 is lucifers virgin genesis prototype body (Shiva) male and female, in Genesis 2 a man Adam is Lord gods representative spirit filled man and had a company to meet Eve(just like the Lord God has angels), but in Genesis 3 Adam was seduced by female serpent, while Eve was seduced by male serpent, after ward s Adam had slept with Eve ,, now keep in Mind The older twin is Cain(serpent mix) and younger twin is Abel pure , together the twin system of sprit and body we can say Cainabel cainabels we are cainabels sinners , so then the real jews and fake jews lived,, and when Christ came and conquered death many jews and Gentiles (mixed) people all can be converted to adopted to be immortal being again but some of fake jews together with romans started to kill the real people of the real God even the romans were converted by seeing Christian s in action but then romans and fake jews invented roman catholic s , but even then the real Christians were winning the hearts , so many years later the roman catholic s planted a agent who was a RC convent nun Kadeaja had a mission with Muhammed, (sorry truth is stranger than fiction) but all these inventions were not enough ,, so the roman catholic again invented many centuries later another called communism from one of their university but even after that cover to cover bible Believers we real Christians exist, rest all religion s are worshiping body and sex , please if you want more source check out Zack Wintz UA-cam channel and Jonathan Kleck channel , cheers mates may we see again🎉
