Unexpected Adventure In The Deep South To Historical Churches & Windsor Ruins
My wife and I are heading out west and thought it would be enjoyable to drive down the Natchez Trace Parkway. Unfortunately we encountered a major storm while camping at Tishomingo State Park with possibility of tornados. That storm is what brought the huge tree down which we had to drive around with the camper. We had plans to see a bunch of things in the area and had to be somewhere else in an couple days. So when stuff wasn't open or closed for the holiday it was disappointing and we wouldn't have enough time to stay till they were open. But it all worked out and it was interesting.

Unusual Sight To See A Flame In A Waterfall Also Exploring A City Of Boulders Called Ledges
Переглядів 2,3 тис.16 годин тому
Eternal Flames Waterfall has been on our bucket list for sometime so we were excited to finally get to see it. The trail to the falls was short and easy. There are some steps but nothing to difficult. The flame in the falls was a sight to see though. It is such an unusual thing for a flame to be inside a waterfall. Next we stopped to explore some ledges that is like a city of boulders. It's fun...
Super Natural Wind Phone At Balls Falls Conservation Area / Roof Top Tent Camping

We had a few challenges in the roof top tent adventure; like not having a long enough electric cord to reach the box but we made it work. We camped at Rock Point Provincial Park. The rain was cold and was not very pleasant to camp in. The rain from the night before made the ground at the festival in Balls Falls Conservation Area a big mess too. It was a little busy but the falls and other attra...

Lots Of Amazing Waterfalls At Cane Creek Canyon Preserve AL

The amount of trails at Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve in Alabama can be a bit overwhelming. It has a lot of options to what trails you could take and it depends on what you would like to see. The Devil's Hollow was amazing with all the waterfalls so that is a great place to see but it can be a long trek there and back. We ended up with seven and half miles by the end of day. The terrain als...
Ancient Route Traveled On For Thousands Of Years Turned Into A Scenic Parkway, Natchez Trace

We made our way to Gatineau Park outside of Ottawa and what a neat place it turned out to be. Carbide Willson Ruines was fun to see and to think that there was some secret lab next to a waterfall. But now it has become a popular hiking destination. The Abby Ruins was also a great stop located on the estate of MacKenzie King. The tunnel to the falls was also fun to walk through.

This is one of our favorite State Parks in Tennessee, Old Stone Fort Archaeological Park. Not only is there nice camping in the woods with water and electric but some of the prettiest waterfalls. You can also swim in the water as well. There is a lot of history to learn about; like the fort itself or about the different mills that once stood by the creek. The trails are not to demanding but goi...

Hello, guys! How are you? I hope everything is fine, my dearest friends! I am trying to move forward as best I can, even if the void inside for the loss of my dad is unfillable.... But that's life, we know. Friends, of course it is frustrating when you find places you want to visit that are closed... Unfortunately it happens. But in any case your tour was still rewarding. It is quite an impression to see the ruins of the Corinthian columns of the Mansion in a place like this. Impressive! My friends, as always it is a pleasure to be in your company. I love you. I hug you tightly with sincere affection. As always I leave you my like and wish you a wonderful month of February. Take care and stay blessed! Renata

That maybe the least descriptive title video ever. Why is there a flame in the water fall. NO CLUE! Well, you made me aware of it so that is good for something.

Absolutely and your welcome for that. It has gained a lot popularity since the first time I found out about it. People have been vandalizing it so go check it out before it closes down. Also there is zero info on why there is a gas pocket in the falls. It is in shale which is another mystery. Plus who discovered it in the first place. I read online one of the examples that could of lit the flame was lighting, really lighting!

He gave the name, "Eternal Flame Falls", try some web-fu. There is a Wikipedia entry for it, explaining the source of the natural gas.

Cup and Saucer trail is awesome. I loved going there when I was on Manitoulin Island. Bridal Veil falls is nice to visit too. If you get a chance to go to the places with alvar formations it is really neat, they are like abandoned parking lots that grew over except that they are naturally that flat since the glaciers came and made them 12000 + years ago. Those spray paintings might be for boulderers. Different places to climb and jump to grab and climb up as a challenge.

We enjoyed that area in Canada and would like to go back and when we do we will try to go check out those formations. Yes Bridal Falls was very nice we also saw White Fish and camped at the Chutes Provincial Park. Did you hike the Adventure Trail at Cup & Saucer?

@@notaboutthedestination5693 I did hike the Adventure Trail there. If you do go back you should try to take a day and go out to the far west side of the island. There is a really old lighthouse out there and the trails have a tiny native peppermint all over that you can smell as you walk on it. Meldrum Bay is nice as well. The small town has tons of hummingbirds all over in the summer as it is on the migration route and has a large bird sanctuary near there. Misery Bay is also nice despite the name. There is a bunch of alvar there too. If you can align it right you can go to the pow wow in Wikwemikong Unceded Territory which is one of the largest in North America. Been there twice! Just be polite about photos as you are not allowed to take pictures of certain ceremonies and if you want to take a picture of someone's regalia you should ask them first. Also when they say everyone can come out and dance, do it! It is a cool experience and they love to show you how to dance and are very supportive if you don't know what you are doing.

We can get very busy seeing all of the sights in a given area. We wanted to get our money's worth since if you pay at one of the conservatives you get into other ones that are run by the same park. A mega tree that was cut down by beam technology in ancient times (heard it was to keep the Nephilim in the area from climbing it while they were being wiped out in the global floods that were taking place at the time). Camping has been such a wonderful experience even though sometimes the trip doesn't go as planned but we end up learning a valuable lesson in the process.
