    My sow did this. She delivered a month sooner than we expected. She was in the horse stall and we had to move her and the babies. She is the most docile Kune Kune and it was really easy. But as always with a pig...you dont move them. They move when they want.

    I love your approach. We live in the “boonies” and dogs are dumped out here all the time. A month ago, a neighbor found “Buddy” tick infested and half starved about a mile from any home half-way up a rock face. She rescued him and we have taken him into our little pack which had dwindled down (due to old age) to a Husky/Shep mix and a little mutt. He appears to be about 1 year old by the size of his “ball bearings.” Buddy has become an absolutely beloved member of our family but as I had researched, even more independent than Huskies we have owned in the past. The few times he has got out the get when someone was coming in, he headed off but if I send my other dogs after him, he follows them back. I’ve tried walking him with a collar (just refused to move and chewed the leash) and now with a harness and lead rope. It has been a struggle. My other dogs are both great off-leash. (Both are also horse dogs) Any chance a GP can ever learn to be happy “on a walk?” or ever graduate to off-leash walks. I know he will never make a horse dog and he gets really upset if I take my other two dogs off with my on a ride, so I’ve just been leaving them ALL home and riding alone which I don’t like? Any advice?? Love your videos! And thanks in advance 😊

      Try riding your horse on your property and try keeping him with you when your riding it will take time it may work .GP's are thinkers and use their own minds to do what they think is best not always what we think is best lol

    WHen you have a large litter of GP's how do you keep them inside? my pups are 8 weeks old and have only lived outside. they play, they sleep, they play, they sleep :) so cute and fun. I won't be having another litter because they are so much work. I go through a 40 pound bag of food every 3 days between 10 puppies and their parents.

    In the garden’s gentle breeze, under the sun's warm rays, I kneel down to the earth, on these early spring days, With a handful of hope, and a dream to feed, I’m planting my future, carrots from seeds. As the days turn to weeks, and the weeks into months, I see the promise fulfilled, in the harvest it comes, With hands in the dirt, and a smile so wide, Carrots from seeds, grown with love and pride.

    My GP is 7 years old. She’s the best dog! Yes she’s stubborn and smart. She loves her kennel that we’ve used since she was as a puppy. It’s huge and she still sleeps in it every day on and off even though the door is always open.

    Logan the beast! Some people still believe you need to dominate your dog, and do things like rub its nose physically in the mistake for the animal to understand. Have you ever had to deal with food aggression, or other types of resource guarding? Thanks for your videos!

    Despite the zukes being a bit close together, as they grow trim off the lower leaves to allow air flow and the plant to concentrate on the veg rather than bushy leaves.

    • @laydenhollowhomestead
      @laydenhollowhomestead Місяць тому

      Yes I agree they are too close together but I'm going to keep them really trimmed down and pollinate them myself . I'm going to be putting out a video on different ways to pollinate plants.
